Wow, what a sight! Hope things are coming along getting things back in order. I can't imagine anything coming out of that unharmed, but so glad you and your birds are OK. My thoughts are with you.

It's my bro's , Okracefan's pens. I had two birds over there. Last Saturday they had some volunteers tear down the garage and the volunteers stacked the pieces too close to the place they burnt broken trees the previous Tues. With the high winds this past Wed. the week old cinders ignited the boards and It burnt over a 1/4 mile to the north. Someone else who lives on the property was supervising the volunteers.

How awful to lose the building materials to a quirky fire, after losing the structures to a tornado.

I know CayuseRanch is looking for a Polish roo -?
I sold one of my 5 mo. old Mille Fleur Cochin pullets and kept her sister who sleeps on the roost all by herself now. Makes me feel terrible now when I see her.

Awww, that sounds so sad. Are there other birds she could roost with? Hopefully she'll find another buddy soon.

Thankfully I've found a new home for the Polish roo. NanaKat is going to take him, otherwise I would give CayuseRanch a buzz. I still have a BR cockerel that needs a new home if anyone is interested.

Well they say first thing to fix a problem is to admit you have a problem. Well it appears I have a problem. Guy

That is a pretty duck! Our next place WILL have a pond!

MJ, we have a pond, but it isn't safe for them- we lost all but 1 duck and the gander, so now they are penned and have a kiddie pool....
