Everything I'm reading online in relation to the original book referred to him as male- the pink bow was a Disney addition, maybe that's what you are thinking of.

Kass here is something to think about, Most of the Oriental Games have that naked strip from Keel to vent. I wonder if they are Nana? Or could there be a third combination? When you breed the Orientals to NNs the results are unique. You will get NNs with the Oriental body type, NNs, and birds that are fully feathered without the Oriental body type.
