Hi maam, did the hen u got from me ever start back laying?

Sorry, I forgot to mention that she started laying about 10 days ago and I have the eggs in the incubator right now

Awesome, had me worried for a moment.

Spent a large portion of the day on my new little homestead in Arapaho. Never new 5 acres could run down so fast. It will be an adventure. Then swung over to Michael D's place and picked up 24 awesome cornish bantams. 22 whites and 2 dark. Very good bred juvinelle fowl that will help my cornish program advance greatly. Got some cages and some of those wooden boxes he was talking about on here the other day. If any of you need carry boxes for your birds, he has these priced way below what they are worth. Thanks again Michael, always a pleasure getting to visit with you.

For birds that can't fly they sure know how to jump. I need one of those Mille Fleurs.......

I scored a neat divided crate from Wal-Mart last night. It'll be perfect for a bantam show prep pen. One bird in each slot.

just gotta make a couple of modifications & its a go.

My turkeys got out sunday & did not return to their pen. I had to lead them with a bucket of feed! XD

My red asil pullet escaped her recovery cage & had a disagreement with someone. She's doing fine. Glad to know she's still got her courage.

yep, the silkie hen raising the nn is quite a jumper! those mille fleurs are from MJ and as sweet as can be, the other two are feed store chicks, the red one is half the size of the black, even though they are the same age, weird...

Cowboy since you were just down the road you should have brought me those guineas!!! I am sure I could have found an empty coop for them with hopes of them joining the main flock this fall. I was wondering if you bought any of those with the blue necks at the last cement auction. I have been kicking myself for not getting them!

If I hadnt spent most of the day at Arapaho, I would have been more than happy to bring them. Didnt figure all day in a cage in the hot temps today would do them much good. Didnt buy any at cement.
