No worries it's all good, when I got back on my question was kinda moot anyway, used to be they would call folks and let them know if there wasn't going to be a sale and post on here but they might have announced it at last auction I wasn't there so could have missed it, I had made several feeders and waterers I was going to bring and was looking to buy some eggs maybe, I'm only getting a couple eggs a week just now but I'm sure that will change real quick I have like 20 young pullets that are about ready to start laying any time now, well the sun is shining and looks like it's gonna be a beautiful day I have a long list of things on the to-do list and I'm starting with setting some traps out where I found feathers of one of my BR roo's I think I have another coyote or maybe a bobcat came and took him off the roost I didn't find where he was eaten just a small pile of feathers like it stopped to get a better grip and kept on moving, it's the only thing that's been taken in a few months now, I have a bunch of live traps and so far in the last 3 months I've got one coyote, twenty possums and half a dozen feral cats I heard from a neighbor that it's been on the news that there have been several livestock killing by a pack of dogs in my area, I don't have a TV but he said something like 10 hogs a couple horses and other things have been attacked, it's a shame people don't take better care of their dogs, Anyhow I hope you all have a good rest of the weekend![]()
Marvelous and glad you enjoy your birds.I have been lurking. I just made it through the end of the semester. phew. Finals, capstone, and graduations, oh my!
I worked all the graduations and it was a blast. It's one of my favorite photography gigs. I'm just going to share a few of the photos:
Those were from Friday night. I haven't even begun to look through Saturdays (two graduations)
I've been looking at all your photos and reading through your posts. So much going on! Beautiful chickens as always.
My duckling is no longer a duckling as the chicken is no longer a chick. I miss the fuzzy days. But, my little flock is amazingly entertaining. I've decided that I can handle this yard bird thing and I want a few more. Just have to decide when and what.
Oh! And what Atwoods told me was a Dominique is SO not one. But she's very pretty. I'll have to go outside and get a recent photo of her and share it. Maybe you all can tell me what she is. : )
