***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Hi everyone....I am usually a lurker since I now reside in AZ instead of Oklahoma...I was wondering if anyone knows of a breeder with LF BUFF ROCKS? I have been looking high and low for some. I have some nice quality Barred variety but would love to add some non-hatchery Buffs. Any info. or leads would be greatly appreciated!

cindy...........There is a lady on ebay chicken hatching eggs for sale that sells Buff Rock eggs and Buff Orph eggs. I have ordered both from her and both hatched great...mine are a couple months old now.

Haven't seen many people talk about them. I have a pair myself. Never even seen any go through any poultry auctions. Got mine through tractor supply. They do orders if you have one near you.

You might check on the Heritage thread under the Breeds section. Bob could probably point you to a good breeder.

My daughter snapped a few pictures of the chickens when she was here for Mother's Day. Thought I'd share
This Big Blue and Highstepper ...even in molt they look pretty good

Big Blue

i just drool over your birds! just gorgeous! Did you see the person on the cochin thread looking for SLC? seems he's having a hard time finding good ones

a bit soggy around here, and dealing with one of my older girls terribly thin, wormed, ivermeced her, and giving her sugar water, hoping she perks up a bit- sprayed the coop down and need to let things dry out so i can worm the rest the flock, using safeguard
