Besides Rudy, I think the second and third to last are my favorites!I do have other chickens, besides Rudy, here's proof, lol
This boy so far is pretty even black / white ratio, w/ very splotchy patterning.
This girl I think is so pretty
This little boy is going to be small, has araucana father, I think his color is going to be striking, he hatched from a green egg, has a pea comb, and the pea comb/nn feather coverage.
I love this girls coloring
This boy also has araucana heritage and tufts!
Love this girls look
Is she going to be mottled?

Only now am I getting a clear idea of what 'scaless' entails.RUDY... The walking anatomy lesson
Good googly moogly, the as-yet-unidentified pullet laid another egg, poor girl. I'm pretty sure I knowwhich one she is. That's a good sized Marans egg next to it. Jumbo eggs are 2.5 oz or greater, and the weight on this one is 101.2g, or 3.57oz.
I don't know if they'll hatch, since she's still young, but I'm putting them in the bator just in case.

Wow. Does this mean its a double yolk? And if so could it still be fertilized? That egg is huge!
Whats a bumper? And if an egg has a double yolk could it still be fertilized? Newbie question here!Bumpers lays eggs almost that large with only an occasional double yolk. This is the second I've gotten from this pullet, and the first is already in the bator and showing an embryo. I'd like to work toward a whole flock of hens that lay eggs like this.
