How old are they? Maybe I missed the post saying that.you mean like....THESE
all the sleepy chickies.
This is Gwen. At least I *hope* it's a Gwen. She's very dominant to the other two....
And little Scooter. Scooter is already the favorite. Even my husband loves Scooter. Scooter may be a boy or girl - if girl then YAY if boy... well then Gwen just better hope she stays a "Gwen" because Scooter stays!
the cochins hatched on May 1. The silkier hatched Almost 11 weeks ago. We question it because the comb is rather wide at this point. It was a runt/preemie due to incubator/temperature issues during hatch. How old are they? Maybe I missed the post saying that.
Edited: I just saw almost 6 weeks. Thats a cockerel with the red. But if I had to guess on the silkie Id say pullet so far. So young still tho. But my pullet silkies have good head feathering early on.
Side shots of the silkie would help and maybe full body. 11 weeks and usually streamers are developing. Also watch for rooster like behavior, I avoid tall chicks like the plague! There are some silkies that remain a mystery until they crow/lay eggs, I can NEVER guess on the non beardeds! I spend a lot of time trying to gender guess silkies. The last batch of silkies I got from my breeder I managed all 3 pullets. I spend a long time picking them outthe cochins hatched on May 1. The silkier hatched Almost 11 weeks ago. @Nuggetirl
Sorry it's a cockerel, you can come pick out a pullet or another silkie if you want. That means I got 3/4 cockerels out of my bantam cochin hatch.
Can I show off pictures of my first cockerel to reach this age? Lol.
He's a handsome fella, I think.
