The Cement facility is just as nice or in my opinion it's better, bathrooms are nicer, and there is a much better concession area. It's even a little closer for us to drive! I love the drive there

Cement is a beautiful old town. I found this article quite interesting on Buzzard's Roost in Cement, OK & was suprised to see that the outlaw Jesse James was there! I bet he buried some treasures around there! http://places.newsok.com/places-buzzards-roost-cement-ok/article/3412425

you might not have gotten the Brahmas if I could have met Mike yesterday when I was supposed to.LOL

Sorry Mike I didn't make it, had too much scheduled for one day. I had to be at my neices grad. from MwC. H.S. on top of being on call for work.

You were at MWC's graduation!? So were we - our neighbor's (and friends) son graduated. Plus we saw Monty there. His nephew graduated.

I am going to be a planting fool this afternoon, I have more planting then I can possibly do in one day, so I will probably be planting again all day tomorrow. First priority will be the veggies then I'll work on the flowering bulbs and tubers Gary got me this weekend.

I wonder how many BYC Okies were at the Midwest City graduation. I was there, you were there and I know Mjgigax (Maryjo and hubby were there.
Who else? I also got to go to the Del City Graduation as well.

Sorry Maryjo.
I should have read just a bit further before posting.

I went back to the Del City graduation too. It was much hotter and louder than the MWC one.

I had a cool thing happen today. My son graduated yesterday. Valedictorian. Anyway mom dont drive so went down and got her yesterday, brought her up so she could see Ethan grad. then took her home this afternoon. Dad is in nursing home in Clinton so went by and saw him also. Stopped at local quick shop to get something to drink. Had my rooster cap on. A man checking out turned to me and said, I like your hat. I noticed he had a gold chain around his neck with a gold rooster on it also. We talked for a few then he invited me out to look over roos at his place. Long story short he was very nice man and very smart about chickens and I had a blast. He gave me free some rooster huts and probable would have sent home a roo or two if I would have taken them. It just goes to show that the people in this sport, no mater what race, age, or background all share one thing. A real love for the chicken. I now have a new friend in this hobby and it all started over a rooster hat.

Congratulations to Ethan and kudos on making a new Chicken Friend.

Sorry I missed you guys at the graduation but there were more than a few people there. traffic was horrible if you came from the north, which fortunatly I did not. My nieces friend was turned away because of no more parking spaces.

Finally had time to check on the tin horns I put in my creek which is usually dry, one tin horn still there but where I put the other one beside and above that one, is a 6ft X3ft washout cannot see the tinhorn anywhere. A whole days work gone in one night.

I didn't go to the graduations, but traffic on Sooner made me re-think my plan to go South on Sooner to get Popey's chicken for lunch. I went North instead and got KFC.
