***OKIES in the BYC III ***

jcatblum, okay,I just wasn't for sure if you knew about it or not. Its on my list of places to visit on one of my trips back,if for no other reason than to visit with Michael and see what kind of pigeons he has on hand!lol

fall can't be to far away-wife is watching football! Amasing how she can do that with her eyes closed!

Our visiting goat is still visiting. She's eating a lot of weeds, but she sticks by me when I've got a feed bucket, so I can tell she's missing her daily ration of grain. Because she's leaving nanny berries all over the yard, I'm going to worm her to reduce the risk of her sharing any parasites.

DH got his first tractor today. It's going to make moving dirt piles and log piles much easier. I'm going to suggest it be used to clear the drive if we have heavy snow so that the Dodge doesn't decide to "rest" in a drift again like last winter.

Notsuperwoman...very pretty birds. I love my Australorps.

City, your Ameraucana splash is stunning. A very pretty flock. Your Sussexs look like my Delawares....love them.

Carl on the oxine bath...how much oxine per gallon of water? Also how much Tylan 50 per shot?

all the ducks were standing there just staring- can imagine what they were thinking! my little pekin stood and stared for the longest time- imagine her thinking 'can i have a hat too???'

Glad you finally got her Robin, She scuffed her bill on the cage I had her in first so had to move her to one that she wouldn't hurt herself on, She has a quiet, dainty disposition untill you pick her up LOL

she is all girl... and seems to have been accepted no problem, she seemed quiet when i picked her up, but she keeps her distance today...

Cool. I hadn't seen this before. Is this just for hosted events or could someone use it for buy/sell/trade listings?

The auction section is just to identify auctions at a fixed location, not to sell individual items on BYC. I think many of us use it for identifying the location and dates of recurring auctions: the address, contact information and what days they are held.

Been gone most of the day. One of those days that cause mixed emotions. Our son moved into the dorms in Norman today at OU. So very proud of him. He has 3 older sisters in their 30's and then him. So he has been raised like an only child most of his life. Graduated top of his class, 4.0 all the way thru. Devote Christian, youth leadership in his church. So many many things to be proud of. The mixed emotion comes though as I will be so very sad he is not home anymore. I know it is his time to go forth, but I am a little greedy and cant help but think of all the things I will have to do myself or not do, because he will not be here to share these things with. I am going to stop as I am in tears already just typing this far. Here is a picture of me and him with a few old timers at Louisville KY National young bird show. He and I made that trip many time thru the years as well as many other show across the US. I love my son and already miss him.
