thats all that affects some, but all of our neighbors know they do not get a warning with our place, if it not my dog it will not be in my yard for long..

She said she found this dog on the side of the road and felt sorry for her, but if you aint home to take care of her either then your not being any better to the dog. I dont think people should be able to have part wolf anything. There is a reason why people cant own full blood wolfs, but they think since they are just part then they wont be aggressive or hunt like full blood wolves. But they are so wrong everyone I have ever heard of that is part still have the same instinks as the full wolf. And did I say this is a really big big wolf/dog.

Help.
I've had my 2 Faverolles 1 1/2 wks now, they've been only with each other. This morning the male was acting a little slow. I've been out working on the pens and have been within eyesight of him since early this morning. I just now brought him in, he was out there wheezing and sounded really bad, it's gotten this bad just since dinnertime, he's sneezing and real raspy sounding. They were inside of their little bedroom which is inside of another building when it was raining so bad the other day. I did notice he stayed out in the daytime when it was raining the other day, I wondered why he didn't go inside their shelter. She went in but he didn't. Could he have gotten something from getting wet? He wasn't really that wet because it just drizzled a little during the day. At night when it was raining hard they were locked inside. The hen is perfectly fine and was scarfing food up left and right all day.
I'm really really scared and he sounds bad. Neither of them have been around any of the other chickens and I bleach my hands and wear different shoes before I even take care of them. Respiratory problems isn't what my others had anyway, they had e.coli. I don't even know why I'm posting except I'm too upset to think straight.
I've got him inside by a heater, is there anything else I should be doing?
Edit, I'll get him to the vet 1st thing in the morning.

I agree it will get worse, we dont have animal control here. I live way way out in the country. The tom turkey was a pet my son who is 4 goes in and gather the eggs during season and anyone can pet the big tom. I will prolly never find one that friendly again.

The Faverolles boy was perfectly FINE til today. Although it may have been coming on yesterday I suppose. I put them in their 8x8 pen late Sunday afternoon, there's a lot of pine shavings in their sleeping area and I had them in a huge crate with sand that I scooped every day for the full week before that. Could this sort problem be from the pine shavings??? It's something since Sunday and that's all that's changed. Michael had them for a good amount of time before I got them so I know this boy wasn't sick when I got them.

We use pine flakes for all our bedding needs...not shavings...but have never had a problem with any of our birds on pine, regardless of chicken- LF and Bantam, peafowl, Turkeys, or Quail. Unless your shavings are extra fine and came from a saw mill instead of a manufacturer, doubt that was the problem.

Okay I just have to say how much I love the internet. Yes often times it is something to entertain me or distract me but when I need to find information, with a little digging I find what I am looking for.

So I have a leaky facet in my bathroom tub. Drives me crazy and I am tired of it, so I went to google typed in "how to fix a leaky tub facet" and voila! found some awesome videos that show step-by-step how to fix the problem, which is really easy, by the way. Not to mention will save me a huge plumber fee. Now just have to go pick up some rubber bushings tomorrow and Saturday I am going to fix the facet in my bathroom. Yeah me!!!!

I also used the internet to learn how to change out the distributor cap, rotor, bleed brake lines, rebuild a water heater and toilet tank. Oh and how to tile a floor. You know how lucky we are to have this information so readily available. Not to mention all the cool chicken people you can meet on the internet. I am feeling very rosey right now.

Okay I am done ranting like a lunatic. See another great thing you can do on the internet! hehehe!!!

the neighbor needs to make financial restitution- it was their responsibility and by law they are liable
