Saw a Faverolles roo on okc craigslist today-- think they said they had several. 6 wks of age to grown Roos. Better jump on it, so you don't miss out!
I think they are the prettiest Roos-- don't have any myself though. Been dealing with my fav RIR roo turning mean. Hope he changes his ag soon-- or he will find himself a nice place in a roasting pan.

Ha! I still find myself wanting a Faverolles male again, too. Like really bad. If the hen continues to do good here then maybe I'll get the nerve to find another male. Muesky is doing the enabling there
And Michael said he'd keep his eyes open. I don't want to show or breed so pet quality is fine with me.
I made this little Serama a spot on the computer table where my laptop is in the RV. Isn't he adorable?! He just SITS there and watches me and clucks at me, too cool. He's got a bird cage to sleep in or when I'm gone and he can just hang out with me the rest of the time. He's sleeping in the 2nd picture. He had a long day for a little bird! http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii158/ksane/Imgp0051.jpg http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii158/ksane/sleep-2.jpg

Finally getting to settle down, busy day. Went to the Elkton,Ky sale. It was much smaller than usual for some reason. I got a two holer cage,a buck rabbit and traded a dwarf rabbit for a guniea pig! Here are a few pics--There were a few beautiful turkeys..
A group of absoultely beautiful Light Brahamas, the roo must have weighed 15 pound!
a few nice spotted pigs, like the upside down heart on the one!
A darling baby pgymy goat that I almost got for my 13 year old granddaughter but remembered I am more afraid of her mother!lol
Some very nice,best I have seen,hair sheep
And todays surprise ,a very pretty pair of llammas, sorry I wasn't paying attention and don't know what they brought.
Okla, awesome pictures!! Those Royal Palm turkeys are the same size as mine. I still don't know if I have 3 boys or 2 boys and a girl or what I have.
Robin, great video! That's the exact sound I've been listening to all day haha! My little Serama almost fell off his perch when he heard the video

wonder if they recognize each others crows??? he will listen to the big guys and then cut loose
It's quite possible they do since they lived in the same room their whole lives. I put a perch in the cage about 6" off the bottom. He loves it! He hasn't left it yet and keeps turning around in different directions on it. I guess it makes him feel big.
