I have a couple that weren't picked up at the last POOPS, I would have to look to see what sizes they are, outside of that you will have to plan to be at the next one.

I seem to have that same problem, too many things I want to do & not enough time!

I don't know about cooking duck, but I had a Mallard for about 5 years. She was super easy to raise. I fed her laying pellets and sometimes leftovers. She lived in a doghouse in a fenced area in my backyard and layed big pretty green eggs that were delicious. I had a kiddy pool for her sometimes, but it was a pain to clean and she seemed just as happy without it. A friend of mine had a pond and duck sat for me and the duck was too scared to go in the pond.

I just cook oatmeal for myself plus alot more and put a cup or so in a bowl for each pen. By the time I get out there and garnish it with black sunflower seeds, or corn or what ever, it is cool enough for them to eat. I also give them plain yogurt with this and that. I learned about pumpkin from Muesky, hot peppers too - for worming plus they seem to just like both. I may try scrabbled eggs sometime. I like to see what they like.
I'm not the only one at this house that spoils them- my DH buys them dried mealworms and wants to raise fresh ones. (You should see how rotten our dog and cats are - we have no kids) The chickens more than make up for it in eggs, entertainment and relaxation, not to forget the friends we have made thru them.
Your daughter sounds like a very creative girl, what fun!
