Those are so pretty!

I keep thinking that it is spring already. Song birds are out, and it seems that the ground is waking up. But I am waiting to see if we get a late snow in February.
Going to post this and then go back and read the posts:

Blooms in January. Found these while taking the dogs out. A bit early huh!

Morning everyone!

Love the flowers, I too am worried about another snow killing everything.

POCO~ how did the bee class go Sat? Did I miss your post?

Hope everyone has a wonderful Monday!

Rebecca, I bought a house years ago from people who had recently re-enameled the tub, sink, and toilet. After a few months, the paint started peeling, and I had to remove it all by hand--a tedious process. It is likely that the supplies used to do this have improved a lot in that length of time, though.

Carla, so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. It is always so hard to lose a loved one, even if/when we know it means an end to their suffering. We're just not ready.

Guys tip of the Day
If you are taking a high dose of blood thinner like I do, you should never ever use your leg to push your big Asil rooster out of the way when he is romancing one of his hens. And if you are not smart enough to know better than this, be sure to have lots of paper towels handy and be prepared to keep lots of pressure on the hole in your leg for a minimum of 30 minutes.
And you need iron on patch for the holes in the pant legs. Several years ago had a roo spring an attack on me from behind while I was filling the feeder. He had never done anything aggressive before. Ripped two holes in my pants leg. The hole he left in my leg was the size of a 22 round and I bled like a stuck pig. He made great dumplings.

ROFLMAO!!! Thats so funny because I know just what you mean!

Yeah I think I may have to find some homers to introduce some yellow into the common flock. I have never seen yellow pop out in commons. And I love yellows! I'm going to cull all plain dark(the most common common colors) and try get a really colorful flock going.Guess I need to come up with some wierd name for them so I can call them a breed when some one ask what they are!lol I swear thats what is happening when I look on some sites and see breeds I have never heard of before!lol

How about Conffetti as a breed name?

On the resurfacing of the tub. My dad did it once when I was still in school-- but he paints cars, so not a fair comparison. I pd to have ours done. It only lasted about 5 yrs. one of the rental tenants put a mat in the tub, which is a no no after resurfacing. It all peeled up & we jus replaced the tub. New tubs are cheaper than resurfacing. My husband can be a bit of an over achiever so when we needed to replace the tub he gutted the whole room new sink, toilet tile the works. I tried my best to tell him we could just replace the bottom couple rows of tile but he couldn't hear me.
As far as maintaining the shower, we only have 6 rental properties but I find the best showers are those all in one units, think they are fiberglass--- I know they might not look as nice as a tub w a good tile job, but they are maintenance free. I never have to worry about someone not cleaning the grout or keeping up with the grout. We even talked about putting those type of tubs in when we build, since I don't think I am going to want to clean grout when I am old & we want to make our house as maintenance free as possible.
