I think these 3 hens come from the same batch I got my 2 from that you had. If anyone's interested in some uber layers, grab these girls. They're beautiful with their top knots on their heads. Dang.....if I didn't have baby chicks at home I'd go to the auction and snatch these 3 up. Not taking any chances this time around though.

Morning all, a nice balmy 68 degrees F this morning, looking foreward to another pretty day. Garden is all in after yesterday ............... Now lets hope there is no freezes coming . Just in case have enough plants started in the green house, but what to do with them if the put in garden survives ?

Years ago when I was delivering farm equipment there was a farm that had a pair of Rotts.

When I would go to pick something up a family member had to be there. You could walk right up to the equipment but it could not be touched. Dropping things off was easy and the dogs would come out and get petted while I took off chains and unloaded. It was like I was bringing something for them.

When I would do a pick-up I would back the truck up to the tractor or whatever and get ready to hook it up while I waited for the farm owner to get there and the dogs would be right by my side watching my every move. When the owner got there it was like flipping an off switch and the dogs were puppys again.

That is a coomon trait with the Rotts so long as we are here it's all good, the UPS and FEDX drivers know that too, if they get off the truck with a package it is staying. Have never had anything stolen around here.

Morning Folks!!!!
Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!!!

Today is also Stella's birthday. She is a whoopin 2 years old today. For those of you who have not met her, Stella is my red pied bald miniature dachshund. If you were at POOPS last year you met Stella.
So who is going to Newcastle today??? I already have the stuff loaded in the truck. Well I have not put the eggs in there yet, that would just be gross. Just taking a couple of things to sell. Slowly trying to get things cleaned out. Might get some feeders and waterers cleaned out to sell. Just do not know yet. Need to clean the coop and it is really nasty.

I'll see how I feel after I get that done.

Well off to start a new day. Hope everyone enjoys the day!
