Robin I sent you the file. Thanks for working on it!

Think Okieridge did the pallet A frame.

Glad everyone likes the tile, buy lots of raffle tickets & it can be yours!!!!!

I have a bunch of silver chargers, if Robin gets the Poops tshirt logo repaired for me I will do a tile & a charger hopefully!

LOL, those turkey girls can realy hide their eggs good, it has been like an easter egg hunt every evening at my house over the past few weeks, sunday one of the hens decided she was keeping the eggs instead of me collecting them, they sure can be mean !

How is Bunny?

Thank you! I called and they will see her today.

Update:The Dr. removed a rather large soft shelled egg from Bunny and gave her two shots with steroids, an antibiotic and calcium. He said she should start to feel better in a few hours but cautioned that she still may not make it. He discovered some gurgling in her left lung and said that her muscles were spongy, and thinks that she may have a hormonal imbalance which would be fatal if that's the case. If she's not better by Wednesday, he wants to see her again. He seemed like a nice man. I will use him again if need be. I sure hope Bunny pulls through this. She's such a sweetheart, and is one of my favorite chickens.

Doodle - I got a call from Sand HIll last night. They shipped my order, but it's incomplete. I'll be getting the Buff Catalana and the Cuckoo Layers I requested, but they are not able to ship the cream Brabanters yet. Looks like a second box will have to be sent to me later, when they have the cream Brabanters. Have you heard any good news from them? I was hoping they found your original order and put a RUSH on it.

All my feathered babies are wanting to be out on grass. If the nice weather holds, I'll be able to move them before the weekend. Unfortunately, putting new chicks out is like a direct call to the rain gods. It works better than washing a car or planning a picnic.

I am setting four dozen turkey eggs Friday and 4 dozen quail eggs. I am looking for a few Red Bourbon hens and Self blue Hens. Anyone got any?
Would like some eggs, Red Bourbon,Blue Slate and New Holland White.

Oh, forgot to ask what the heck I am I going to do with the quail I got talked into setting. Do they sale at auctions? There a Poultry Auction starting up between Jay and Grove at the Sellbarn. It on Friday the 6th or maybe this Friday night. Have to check it out.

Cute tile!

Who made the a frame out of pallets??? Any pics? I couldn't figure out what to push to release the saw blades, so I sharpened the mower blades and at least got the front yard done. DH said I'm supposed to pull a pin, so hopefully I can get to some tractor construction done tomorrow.

We made one from pallets then dh decided tearing them apart wasn't to productive. Now if that is what you have to work with it is great. But hubby had all this cedar he could use so he did, lol. Here are pictures of the pallet one and the full cedar one. Both used a cedar frame and then the pallet slats were used to cover the shelter. If you pallets come apart easier than ours you could use those easily. We just had a time getting the slats off without busting them. But it works, lol. Okay I don't have pictures of the pallet coop finished, grrr. But the bottom of the shelter was made with pallet slats and then we added slats on the sides to form the shelter. Just overlap them so rain doesn't get in and they stay nice and dry. The other change we made with the others was we built the floor of the shelter end up off the ground after this one. They are 4' wide at the bottom and 4' tall, we made these 9' long but you could do wider and longer. We are using them as our grow out pens for each hatch of chicks. Well and as coops for Kurt and Jack's banty cochins. We moved ours yesterday (yes they are HEAVY, can't wait to figure out wheels for them) and the chicks went crazy for fresh grass to munch on.
