Sorry I can't remember these all hatched in October. But it was pretty easy to tell them apart. The boys grew fast the 2 I kept I hand put leg bands on to save since they grew the fastest. The rest we butchered a few months ago. By 10 wks old the NN Roos were the size of my RIR hens. The NN hens are much smaller.

I'm just going to bring my bucket, I can flip it and sit on it or through water at a fire (just in case). The ultimate in okie furniture is a feed store 5 gallon bucket, they have so many uses.

OK, I have the burgers, hotdogs, and buns, Mustard, and cheese, light dill pickles (homemade)
 who has the tomatoe, lettuce, onion, and chili?

I have the chili and it is driving me CRAZY! It smells SOOOOO good! 4 lbs organic grass fed beef, a leedle bit of organic home cured dry rub, applewood smoked bacon (for the beans), lots of tomatoes, six kinds of organic beans, organic homemade chicken broth, organic onions, organic garlic, chili powder, cumin powder, fresh ground black pepper, touch of cinnamon, and red wine to deglaze the pan. It's been simmering all afternoon and making me all kinds of hungry. Can't wait!

Also While I am posting can someone tell me what kind of Bantam this rooster is? The kids keep asking and I have no idea! I got him for the kids last October. He has a cute little hen that looks just like him. I love how snowy white they are.

i dont care if they eat grass, only good snake is a dead snake!

But what if they eat sandburrs? I'd take a mess of sandburr eatin' snakes, that's for sure.

Speckelled King's are real good snakes, they eat other snakes.. and leave the birds and eggs alone.

Now that's what I need. A snake that eats other snakes and won't eat my dang eggs. Or chicks. I hate when they eat the chicks.

Alright I will give you that one! As much as I hate snakes I would let them stay around if they ate the sandburs!!!

Okay, I finally got the cane loaded up and now can't remember who was interested in it LOL I dug some roots till I broke the handle out of my shovel then wore myself out with the pick axe I did cut a bunch of the canes that have the offshoots coming out at each node, I saw while I was digging that where the canes had gotten run over a month or so ago that it is rooting all along the nodes where each sucker is growing so I can make up bags as anyone wants some you will just have to cut it into sections and keep them moist and should do well, my neighbor is wanting to make a hedge out front of his property to screen out the folks across the road I'm thinking more like on the line between he and I LOL

Now I know I have gone chicken crazy!! These NNs are starting to grow on me. Is there a cure or am I a total goner?

Oh no!!!!!!! Spiders and snakes are awesome and amazing creatures. They are beautiful and have a great purpose the snakes ridding the earth of rodents,(sorry Okla) and the spiders eating the bad insects, they are one of the coolest insects to photograph.

I'm with you. I love taking pictures of my spiders around here. Snakes too. I got no problem with them, but they need to stay out there and eat the gophers and leave my **** eggs alone.
