Okies in the BYC The Original

Too dark to see... but I tried to look for air sacs and veins...I have 18 hopefuls from ya... If anything happens... it will be me.... they look good....Now I am worried about the humidity issue....

But I figure I will start again if nothing happens.... I bought the 1588 because I read somewhere on BYC that it was "idiot" proof... we'll see.....

Henny, when my hatchbuddy comes and gets the eggs on my counter it will be my last hatch for the summer unless something really interesting comes up, I am way behind on cages as it is, so need to concentrate on cages and get some stuff moved and ready for the winter and heat of summer, good luck and let me know if you need more eggs and I can save some up, I have 6 Black Sumatra eggs that need to go in the incubator if anyone is interested in them cheap, Lynn

Lynn, It was nice talking to you this afternoon. I went and fed and watered everything. It didn't take long to get hot. Hopped in the pool to cool off but that didn't take long. The water is a balmy 70 degrees despite the past few days of hot weather.
I need to catch up with Tina and get her some Polish today if she is around. Tina, you around?
Al, glad you are better and have Florence Nitengale and Clara Barton there to care for you. I know you are glad they are home wether you are sick or not. You don't have to worry about thier safe return now.
I overdid it myself yesterday but not to the extent of Al. I am just sore and tired.

Monty, I honked when I went by!! Thought of you and Tina, the cars around me thought I was honking at them.

I just took a dip in the pool and now I am kicking back watching TV.

I don't think it would be an easy sale!! Hope you got the most important stuff considering. I can understand waiting for it to cool off some. I didn't get my pen done for my broody so she is just gonna have to deal for now.

I just got done cleaning coops....spent most of the afternoon weeding and moving containers and patio furniture. I have a huge birdbath I have to move.... had it out front where my mom sat out to smoke. Going to move it to the back so I can see it once in awhile... had a lot of stuff out there for her, but we never use the front....Purple martins nested on my storm door, so that's out of commission, anyways.... has anyone heard from Stimpster? I haven't seen him in awhile....If your lurking Stimp, I miss ya!

I have been MIA for a while so I haven't seen him but I could sure use some of his witt!

Glad you are getting things cleaned up and moved around. I am behind on that this year. Just when I think I am going to have some time to get stuff done life gets in the way. I guess it will all still be there when I get to it.

Got 44 eggs in the hatcher, Lots of pips already. Day 19. Had 14 out of 15 last hatch, hoping to get 40+ on this one

My friend at works dad is real excited to be getting chicks and he told me his dad definetly take more than the 20 I gave them today. So hopefuly I can unload another 15+ on them and then give the rest away to the nieghbors. I have an addiction but after my next hatch (on day 4 or 5 i think) I HAVE to quite, unless i can talk carla into sending me a bunch of BR/BS/Narr eggs?!?!

Al, sorry to hear bout the heat stroke. In a couple of months it will be the football players we have to worry about practicing in full pads in this crap. I can remember many practices of puking teammates. I know you know but im gonna say it anyway, drinks lots of fluids
