Ya know when I started raising chickens I never thought that I would get as involved as I have!!! But I must say that there is nothing that I enjoy more than messing with my chickens and doing stuff for them, but except for my family of course

quensten - truer statements are hard to come by...it is just so relaxing even when I am working my hind end off! And the chicks are so cool!!! And the crazy people you meet are even more enjoyable! What is really fun is when the family is doing stuff with the chickens...it is almost like how things were meant to be

I agree my wife isnt into chickens as much as my kids and I but chickens do something that no other animal has done for me!! If I have a bad day at work it goes away when I go out and talk with my birds!!!!!

I play drums as well and I learned at a young age when I was going to church with some neighbors! I use to play the saxophone and the clarinet but have since lost all of the know how!

I've got my first Bobwhites this year. They are about grown,boy are they fat. 2 males and 3 females .Wonder if I should separate them or wait till spring. Found some Tennessee Reds not far from here for $4 each,grown,thinking about getting some of them. Don't know much about quail but sure like them.

You should have seen my high school jam with the drumline! Us bases got down and funky with it!

Mama is calling so I gotta go to bed...plus the dew has worm way off and I am crashing! And my spelling is even worse than normal!!!
