Hum... now I forget where you live, but we must live pretty close! I am only a few miles from the Choctaw's big casino area.

I live outside of a small town of 400 people called Alderson. It is about 5 miles southeast of McAlester.

My son finished up his college at Durant. He has to go to the casino down there for meetings and training sessions.

I don't know, you have to get what you think you like and want to work with. Heck I have changed my mind a few times. I think thats what is interesting about chickens you can just do whatever suits you, whenever you like. I was just jackin wit ya.

After I retired, I owned a commercial real estate brokerage in LA, we moved back to ... well, here, because this is where I'm from. I didn't do anything for 3 years but my wife didn't last 3 months before she was climbing the walls & went to find a job. Then one day she gets it in her head that I need to find something to do also. All I wanted to do was play poker. So, OK I says, and off I went to Las Vegas for 3 weeks for poker dealer training. I'm Creek, so I went to our casino and auditioned & got hired. Poker & Blackjack dealers don't interview, they audition. So, it's just a "retired" job. The hardest thing about being in your early 40's and retired, is being in your early 40's and retired.....

Maria, my wife, is retired from the California National Guard (full time duty) and is now the court clerk in Claremore. We met when we were both active duty Army. When I retured from Iraq (version 1) I had been to war 3 times and didn't have a scratch on me, figured I was pushing my luck so I got out after 11 years active service.

Al at this point I dont have a plan I am not up on the breeding and stuff like that but have been researching alot on it, I guess you could say I am still in the early learning stages!! As far as foo foo chickens I have to say that my favorite chicken is a Black Silkie Roo!!!

Actually, Choctaw's have many casinos not just the one in Durant. Of course, our Durant one is I believe the biggest one. Their website lists 8 locations.
