Sitting out in front of PSO waiting for Mike...they saw he was here early so they took him in early...as far as I know it's just him and one other guy testing.....! We thought there wouild be several of them...wow....Can't concentrate on Bible study...too nervous and distracted. Chick seems like a nice town...pretty much like Altus, but newer and fresher looking. Going to try and hunt down Jake's rib for the way home.....

Faeries and dandi...you guys were right...it's cccoooolllld. I can't get warm out here in the truck...lol

Hey, you were soooo close. And to be honest, most people actually do remember it as The Lord instead of Thy Word. Which is phonetically very close.

Of course, I studied the OT very closely as a child, even the books not contained in the Torah. Thought it made for interesting reading

Mike came out a bit ago on break and said that he felt good about the math (of course)....There are about 6 of them...Mike looks like the oldest

I am freezing my arse off out here in the truck...I have a big ole korean mink blanket back there, but I don't wanna look like a wussy....lol. I have been playing Majong on my computer and reading.....I'm starving !! Mike ate something when we got here...I was still too out of it...still aint a morning person!!!

Got one of my wheaten pullets in sik bay...that weak unstable thing again...Probably cull it tonight...I think it has to be nutritional...A virus would spread to my flock wouldn't it? I think I am putting them with the big hens too soon...and they are getting shoved outta the food until they get skanky....but they have been eating. My only other option is bad water or dirt. My water here is really hard and full of gyp. (There is a gyp plant 7 miles from us) The guy who owned the land before me used it as a junkyard. Mike spent two weeks clearing trash and weeds out of it. And by trash I mean car parts etc. I pulled a foot long screw outta the dirt in the run the other day....Lotta glass and junk floats up when it rains!!! I expected bumblefoot!!

Oh well...back to Tom Clancy I guess

Henny--I grew up outside of Chickentown, where is the PSO office that Mike is interviewing at? For Jake's just head south on US-81 'til you pass the Best Western (on your left) and the turnpike to Lawton overpass and on ramps; then at the next light turn left, go a couple of blocks a kind of follow the curve of the road to your left and Jake's is on the right side. There used to be a public library in town that would be heated while you wait.
