Hey, you were soooo close. And to be honest, most people actually do remember it as The Lord instead of Thy Word. Which is phonetically very close.

Of course, I studied the OT very closely as a child, even the books not contained in the Torah. Thought it made for interesting reading

The Talmud Faeries?

I have both, in several editions. The Torah is the first 5 of the OT (Genesis through Deuteronomy), the books of Moses. The other books of the Old Testament aren't included in the Torah. The Talmud is, well, the Talmud

Tis hard for me to explain. It's comprised of two parts, the Mishnah (oral law) and the Gemara (rabbinic law).

Now back to chickens... I found a couple buff mottled columbian cochins on Eggbid... dangerous territory there

Henny-if you still have time, the library is (or used to be) between 5th & 6th and Minnesota & Iowa--I think. For point of reference, Hwy 81 is 4th St. Over there in the "industrial park" where you are at, you are on Cammie's (countyroad) side of town off of Hwy 81 north by the airport I think.

How's everyone else today?

OK...my heart is pounding... they are grading the tests now...

Mikey said that they gave them more time on the sample tests on the internet. One mechanical test was like 23 minutes on the internet...it was 7 minutes here....LOL..He said all the guys were griping!! Should know any minute now whether we get to come back tomorrow for the fun stuff (i.e. hanging from poles etc) and the interview....

I thought it was "Hey buddy, got a light?" Sam Spade

Henney - Yay!!! Keep us updated! I wish I'd realized that today was the day you were coming, we could've met up for lunch! We actually live much further south of where you are. You can follow 17th south to USAO; we live behind the college's pond. So where are you planning on moving? There's a house for sale a block down from us!
