Hey every1 i am not a full okie but my mom was born there and we still have a house ther it in prague its practically our summer house getaway bu ti tell you oklahoma and california (where i live) is so totally diffrent then out there i saw CrazyChickenRancher your from prague too where about my house is right of main street same street as sonic which i love so much but unfortunetly the closet one around here wa slike 3-5 hours away lol but they just built one like 30 or 40 mins from my house her ein cali, when in okie i loved to walk down to sinic pick up a couple those 99c banana splits and go chill at the park, but anyways eventually ill be moving back to okie when my parents retir ein a couple years and they going to buy like a 100 acre farm house buildign lot so i will heave pleanty of chickens thinking bout becomming a breeder out there but we will see

Well, I just got back in the house from dragging 2 of my pyrenees back over the fence from my neighbor's house. They found a hole somewhere. Luckily the neighbor's bullmastiffs weren't out at the time, but they let them out right after I put the last dog over. They were probably watching and laughing through a window! Gosh, it's not easy trying to pick up & drag 2 big dogs over a 5 foot fence. Looks like it's fence mending time, as soon as I can find the hole. First I need to rest!

I am a mom of three girls one chicken crazy.. Two labs one chicken crazy as well, a wonderful horse and a wonderful husband that should have been on top of the list. Our two new family members are two Black Cochin's. The hen sits on my daughters lap.

No she didn't start crowing, She just thinks my Roo is a mother hen cause she keeps trying to get under his wing..I guess she must be cold...I don't blame her much..

Donna it was great seeing you again..Hope we can do some more trades one of these days

on chicken stock the last one was at the Poteau Fairgrounds,, I hope we can get something set up again in the spring or early summer... at a place that will be better for everyone to attend..

hello everyone i hope everyone is doing well and has their christmas shopping all done and not like me i still have too finish but i am late for every darn thing anyway!!!! i hope all of you have a mery merry christmas and your chickens stay warm!!!! seems all i do these days is deal with chickens lol i have 2 in a brooder 2 full grown hens that have too grow feathers back from being plucked by the roos. poor things i feel sorry for my hens, is there anything i can put on the ones who have lost feathers too keep roos off of them??? i heard someone say before too put vicks vapor rub on them too detour being plucked too death when they were small and it worked. i am wondering now since they are all grown and my roos act like they are horn dogs if the vicks would keep them off the hens for awhile???? sounds crazy i know but just thought id ask....

Hey y'all,

Man, I 'bout gave up the ghost. I've been sick as a dog for about the last week and this is the first time I've felt like doin anything.

I'm normally a winter time kinda guy. But after this little spell of cold weather, I'm ready for spring. I think I'm just gonna find me a warm spot and wait til times get better.
