Good day my fine Friends :
I got back from the big show at about 11:00am and I must say Iam a little bushed, never got a chance to sit down. I had such a good time with so much to do and see, I stayed all day from 6:00am to 5:00pm on Saturday. I had it in my mind that this was going to be my weekend to fully indulge myself in my obsession, Looking at birds and talking with all of the breeders was very insightful and I learned a bunch. Of course the best part was seeing all my good BYC Budro's, we were all running around like chickens with our heads cut off LOL, we all had our own agenda's and were a force to be reconed with at that show as we had some serious #'s there. I didn't buy a single bird nothing jumped out as a have to have, but I did make some huge aquisitions for the spring, got several hundred birds coming so I am fired up, and I made some very good High speed contacts and met some stand up folks in the chicken world. Smith Poultry had a great table set up and I think all of bought at least 2 or 10 hard to find things.
I must say my throat is hoarse from all the gabbing.
Lunch was a riot and it seemed a good time was had by all, except Carla bless her heart she had the unfortunate luck to sit next to me at the table, I think she still has all her fingers including the ones that crossed my plate territory

Apparently from all of the comments I recieved ( Monty & Donna ) it is Taboo to order to large Entrees for lunch and to hold mutiple utensils in each hand while eating. It's my DW's fault as she wasn't there to kick me in the shins under the table and tell me to be civilized in public hehehehe. I would actually have eatin a bit more but Donna was making everybody laugh with her contagious laughter. Marybeth finished off the lunch in style by passing around fresh hive Honey to slather on our Sopapias.
Less : yes I did get that dang bottle opened, I refuse to drink my water from a little sucky thing, so I just ripped it off LOL. Muesky/Rebecca let me hold that Showgirl she aquired and it didn't make me scowl at it's appearance.
Greybear : I tracked down Dakota several times as did several others and he was doing well, we didn't want you to worry, great kid.
GB1 : Good to see you again fellow Cornish man and thanks for hooking me up with the other experts in Cornish like Billy Grimes and Danny Padgett and all the Glass family, they are all such nice fella's.
Stimpy : Thanks for introducing me to Terry Brit I visited again later with him but he was really runnin. You & I didn't even have the chance to talk WR talk at the cages, oh well we have all the time in the world. It was nice to meet your Daughter tell Lou she sure can make a pretty one, she remains uncorrupted as we were able to keep her away from Roy/Teach LOL.
Carah : I hope your party went well and thanks for the Tin's, tell Maddy I enjoyed her company but your is priceless, we are Blessed to have you tolerate us.
Donna : If it was anybody but you I would have that Polish red Rooster in my breeding pen tonight, you know I had to let you get it. You kept me in stitches all day, Richard sure is a champ isn't he.
OSUKate : Was great to meet you and Charolette, I hope we were able to be of some help with your bird negotiations. We were however unable to avoid you meeting Roy, we hope you still have your sanity and dignity intact LOL.
TJ's Na Na & Bill Bailey : you four were sorely missed, I think everybody felt like there was something missing in the event with Ya'lls absence.
Big Q & Carolyn : So happy to see Ya'll getting your feet wet at such a big show, you guy's did great, Q I hope you get to feeling better, all that going took it's toll on all of us I think.
Cityclucks/Beth : Missed having you on my arm strolling through the Foo-Foo cage Isles, try not to pull that no show thing again, Stimpy was even going to organize a candlelite vigil for you.
