How are the little velociraptors?

It was too late to intro them to the other birds tonight. So they are in a leaf lined shipping crate in the garage. They sure seem to be a diverse little bunch. I love personality! Again, thanks Kae

Thank P&B... the eggs came from her

true mutts, they're a bit flighty cuz i didn't get to handle them as much as I'd've liked.

Well I am back from my long nap I am feeling much better tonight!!! Al when I got home I had another egg from that trio that I got and they are fertile!!! I am functioning a little better right now so I will say more.

MAllen- it was great to meet you, sorry we didnt get to talk much, but you see, the chickens Gods, they been talkin to me, and they are trying to get me to take on a big project, but they arent being really clear on what they want me to do, so I took 15 jillion laps around the sale room and I dont know how many around the show room!!Hopefully you can make it to the next POOPS event!!!

Al glad to see that you are recovering from the wild weekend!! I was gonna say that if you are interested in some of them Big Ol Brahmas that were seen in the sale room, well I am planning to do some hatching ya know would ya be interested???

Nah. J talked me into partridge rocks. He loves their color and said he'd build the coop with his own $ and provide the feed. So. Partridge rocks it is.

Oh, and I kept one of the little raptor babies. Her name is Phantom, and she's a gorgeous ghost gray.

Hey Les, you need to go over to the "What breed is it" thread. About the 15th one down is a question by queenelizzy. Some strong debate about a bird that looks to me to at least have a little NN in it. Go lend you expertise.

What a gorgeous day. How kind of God to throw it in so I could get some chores done....Got everything scraped down and disinfected...dang it looks good. Made 4 more nesting boxes. All the while geese flying over....awesome. BTW... those big black and purple hens....are roos.

Les any ideas for my purple roo for breeding.?

Glad y'all had fun at the show...Gorgeous pics of all my buds....

It got so warm today! So I put out more Christmas lights. I think the weather made my chickens have a 24 hr growth spurt, they've gotten big so fast! I think my Cuckoo Maran is a roo... Its about 5 months old now, and getting long tall tail feather... So if anyone's interested in a Cuckoo Maran roo and a Black Copper Maran hen, let me know! Lol

Do hens feel heavier to pick up when they're about to lay? I think my Silkie is about the right age, and when I pulled up today she was collecting chicken fuzzies. And she felt SO much heavier when I picked her up. Maybe I'm just getting excited.

Here's my Silkie from Betsy, she's such a sweety!
