Funny... I was typing up the above list of breeds I have, then went back over it and realized I had already typed them in the order I like them!!

Well, I finally finished up my deep freeze transitions. My hands are frozen and my fingers can barely type. But my new deep freezer is all nicely organized and I didn't loose any of the food from the other deep freezer, yeah! However, the new one is almost full, it is definitely smaller than the other one.

Now to figure out what is for dinner!

Hey you were there when I got one of those pairs. What do you think honestly of the ones we bought? You may have to describe to me again what Charlotte will need to do with them when she gets ready to show them. She adores the hen!

Tara, yes I did see those

I like the Polish breed a lot, but my particular bird isn't that great quality, that's why I rated them low on my list.
There were some really neat ones in the sale room! I looked to see who bred them, and it turned out it was a guy I knew (my Silkies came from him). I went and asked him what those gorgeous Polish were called, and he said they were just a sport!! He had brought them hoping maybe one would sell, but he said almost right away, they all sold! I know why - that color was so pretty on a Polish

You will probably need to keep the hen and the cock separate so they don't mess up each other's feathers (top hats) doing any breeding activities.

The pair you were looking at looked great to me.

I'm by no means an expert, though.

ETA: Yes that was me!

I think he was saying you can get black, chocolate, and khaki colors when breeding them.

Beautiful! If I didn't already have too many breeds...

So was that the same guy then that Grace is talking about and the one I bought ours from? Oh no, I didn't even think of that and I was so badly wanting to breed them. Get some babies!

Oh and yes he did say that about breeding.

So I have a hatching question? According to Charlotte our eggs should hatch on the 21st, she says from counting when they went into the incubator. However, from when they went under the hen it may be in about three days. So do I go into lock down or do I wait a couple more days then lockdown. And we also added more eggs that we had to the ones that were from under the hens. So they may be a day to two or so behind, at least the original start date. What should we do?
