Monty - hush being mean ...no there is no Braums

I sold the cornish bantams to Nana...I know where I got them though...they was costly

Okla-doodle - I got Trumpeters, WOE, Italian owls, German field pigeons, Spanish Pouters, runts, modenas, um....I am forgetting some...I don't even remember all the chickens!

Everyone - thanks...I am very proud of my boys. Like all kids they have their moments. The oldest can be a bit of a smart aleck (no comments about where he gets that but hey...he is my boy) The youngest can be a toot but will work his hind end off. My mom is always on me about some of the things we require from our children like the yes mams and no sirs...we didnt do that growing-up. I think it is really important now. The other teachers know that my kids are expected to answer that way and will clear their throats if they don't get it...they might have heard me. I gotta brag on them some more but y'all started it! We had a young lady that probably had Aspergers (like Autism) anyways...not very socially aware and such...when Bubba had her in class...he took to taking her to music and PE and such...she would get distracted and wander off! Then Clayton took care ofher during one of the programs making sure she stood in the right place and told her what song to sing and when to stop...very comical. Of course these are also the same boys that have well...informed the techer they could not go on with the kindergaten graduation because he hadn't lead the pledge yet...mom was horrified!

They are really pretty with their longer tail! I don't remember where or what I was looking at, but I came across a chicken I think that was called Kelso. Are they similar or related or something? Do you have the top hat polish?

Kelso is a line of American Gamefowl. No relation to Cubalaya, except that they probably share a few common ancestors.

Some American Games do have rather lengthy tails, I have a Hatch cock with a large, long tail. If he ever finishes regrowing it from his molt, I'll share photos.

I had some polish once, just have a lone splash polish cock. He's non-bearded. I keep him, just 'cuz he's different and a bit "spirited".

Did anyone notice (those who went to the Shawnee show) that there was supposed to be some "pumpkin" american games to be shown? Cages were empty though.

You may not crow, but try to fight the urge to scratch in the dirt every time you walk across the yard.

I'm just sayin'

Just don't start clucking when you find a worm and expect all the hens to flock to you!

It's really interesting to hear about the comb injection. Much more natural I guess than steroids.
