Carla, I don't have any giant eggs to trade right now. I have one giant hen left and I would like to get a roo and a few more hens. If I come across any at an auction I'll buy them and then when I get eggs we can swap.

according to the buy sale thread your incubator is gonna be busy, this the season Right now I only have 3 in hatcher 7 in incubator 11 under broody and 1 dozen polish on the way next Monday.

How are things going on your hatch? Let me know if you plan on taking Emma to the Harrah Auction on the 23rd I may bring Dakota and leave the other 2 with a babysitter so I can focus on chickens.

Update here:
Things are looking up hubby has 2 definite jobs and 2 other prospects so we just have to sort through them and decide on pay, benefits, hours etc. I am so excited I may have a semi normal house, hubbie has always worked night and he may get a day job so that we can have family time, I am so excited!!

I came home for lunch at 11 and saw the first pip. Its almost 5 now and there hasn't been much progress, but frequent chirping! I'm so worried them! And only one egg has pipped. I think I may actually only get one chick.

So Grace, if you've got a list, would you mind adding me for about 6 or 7 more d'Uccle eggs? Better make it 7, I like the odd numbers.

How did you like your incubator? Did your humidity hold pretty good for you?

Still no chickies. He doesn't seem to be making much progress, either.

He cheeps every now and then, and I saw his beak move, but the hole in the shell isn't getting any bigger. Should I be worried?

Don't worry, Cammie, it is not uncommon for them to take 24 hrs. to hatch, and some may not even start hatching until up to 5 days late. I hope you get more than one

I don't know when we will be coming to Duncan again - it's kinda sporadic

. Hey, a chicken train sounds pretty cool. I might be able to come up with some d'Uccles for you from a friend of mine... of course you can have more eggs, too.

Cammie, she has Buff and White Silkies. She does not live in OK... I think she's from PA, anyway, I know she's shipping them. I'm not exactly ordering them... the deal is, she emailed me saying that she went to my website, loved my birds, and wanted to get some eggs. Then I went to her website, and I fell in love with her Silkies, so I basicly wound up emailing her back saying that I went to her website, loved her birds, and wanted to get eggs

Confusing, I know

Anyway, now we are going to trade eggs later on.
