Gerald and I separated 2 of our breeds of turkeys last night and realized we still have too many toms ... so, if anyone is interested, we listed them on craigslist. We have several Narragansett and Blue Slate toms, and one Royal Palm and Bourbon Red each. These guys are big and beautiful ... just $25 each.

We've been hatching lots of chicks lately too. We hatched some Frizzles from a fellow BYC'er, and some marans and silkies & some others.

We need to sell chicks: I know we have silkie, egyptian fayoumi and a few other varieties that I'd be willing to part with. Oh yeah, still have lots of juvenile naked necks, up to 2 months old that need to find new homes. I guess I need to advertise these on craigslist too.

We sure need to have a get-together soon of all us Okies & have a swap & sale. I vote for March or April and hopefully LuvzmyBabyz has talked to Jerry & Misti about the Blanchard Ag Building. It's conveniently located in the middle of Oklahoma and has lots of room!

I would be open to some more NN. question here i have one NN chick that was blue in color at hatch in november and just turned black? normal?

Oh dont want to jenks it but we got 3 eggs yesterday and 1 so far today. I guess these hens have listened to me and know they were heading to the freezer if they didnt start laying.

The roosters are feeling springish now, poor hens that they can catch.

On the get together March is ok for me, April is also just not the 1st weekend. Got a baby shower.

Often times birds will change colors as they start to get an adult plumage. I don't count out a bird to be show quality color-wise till they are at least 2yo. And I have had red feathers come in to an all black bird as late as 3yo.

I am not having a shindig, a couple of the boy's stopping by to watch in HD, I like the underdog's go red birds.

As for the game I am already looking forward to Aug. for Pre season , Don't care for Baseball, Nascar is Ok.. But I love my Pro Football sometimes college sometimes if it's a top ten team

Of course, if you do not have an extra roo, chicks work too as the brooder will be lit up then anyway

The Blanchard Ag Building would work fine for us, it is closer than the CS was.
