I am not sure how well a weekday would work, but if we did it the Monday of the second weekend in April, that might be better than the day before Easter??

ETA: the location works for me, because it is actually closer than most other discussed places were (2hrs.). Other than that, I do not really know much about the area. Could someone please remind me of the "high points" of this place

Thanks

I think that's GREAT that Jim volunteered his Lexington Poultry Auction Building! He does have a good barn for a get-together. My only problem is that it's out in the country and the 2 or 3 times Gerald and I have gone ... we get confused on how to get there. I don't know why! I guess early Alzheimer's and/or Dementia kicking in.

I still like the idea of Blanchard Ag Bldg. also, or maybe there's even more options we haven't explored yet?

I think most people will be able to attend on a weekend a lot easier than a weekday. My preference would be on a 3rd weekend of any month, since Gerald and I usually attend auctions the 1st, 2nd and 4th weekends of every month. I guess that if it's held any weekend, we could hold it early enough in the afternoon that some of us diehard auction fans could leave when it's time for the auction to start.

I am trying to catch up on all of the posts. It may take a while for everything to find their way through my gray matter.

Thanks Luvz. I appreciate you doing all of the checking.
Let me think on all of this for awhile.
Lexington would be fine, but I would still like to know about the place where they hold the "Noble auction". I don't know where it is exactly but I know it is much closer to T-Bird than Lexington.
As for the date I know Teach and I can't be there on the third weekend in April.

Simply asking for everyone to pray for Gods mercy and grace for my family.........we have suffered a great loss of a granddaughter today and I am totally and utterly dependant on God's mercy and grace and love to carry us all................ i miss my family here........ and thankful i can come and count on you all................

I have been over on my Yahoo group talking about a show in April in Arkansas, That is trying to get up and running.
It will be Easter weekend just one day Saturday. sounds like it might be fun if they can get it all worked out..
If any of the Okies on here would like to check it out just PM me and I will send you a link to the group.
It will be at the Mulberry Fairgrounds ( Just a few miles east of Ft. Smith) and it will be a show and sell.

Man how nice would it be to have something going on every weekend, and you could drive to. talk about pick and choose.

I may never get all the pens built that need building. Heck I have a hard time getting myself in gear to do it now

I started a new thread for all you Okies who will be coming to the meet up. This new thread is only to post what birds or eggs you have to B/S/T. Here is the link.

Monty, the Noble auction is at "120th & Maguire Road just East of Noble. 3 miles South of Thunderbird Lake".

Nicoe, that is a great little (er... big) incubators! It is more than I can pay now, though

Don, I might be interested in attending that show (I probably won't go though...). Anyway, if you could please PM me with the info, that'd be great.
