I can't afford it either! They use to let employees have a day to hunt and then it became a lease deal where you got more days but had to pay a little and now it is closing in on more than what a teacher type can afford plus the drive and the $300 license! I can hunt public here and on friend's places...most are willing to let a doe or too be taken off a wheat field...very hard to do it with a bow! we only get to shoot does first and last day of rifle

Hope we can make a lake camp type thing work but an auction place would work...I am out that third weekend as well...the 4th weekend would work...

Need more feed back about Easter weekend, If it is ok with everyone else, I can make arrangements for that weekend if it is at T-bird as it is right around the corner. What about the 4th weekend in April. INPUT needed.

OK got the call..................NO to t-bird and birds. Camping is fine but no birds. Birds could be at my house still tho. Ideas needed. Arcadia is a state park also so they wont do it either. What about Cleveland county fair grounds?

OK good news and bad...............called Cleveland county fairgrounds, it is open for Easter saturday. For 275.00 for the arena which is 180 by 200 feet. No rules. I think it was 15 $$$ a night for rv hook up. To camp at T-bird there would still be no birds allowed.

I also would rather the auction not be in on this get together. Let me call one more place and see if they would let us hold it there. I know alot of BYC locals go to this place.

Monty, I hadn't realized that was Easter Weekend (duh!) I will probably not be able to make it then

If it's not too much of a drive for you guys/gals, I can surely check down here in Durant, Ok. I know poultry would be allowed if we got the fair grounds, and used the Poultry Building its self

(not sure of cost)
We do have Lake Texoma a few miles away.
Also, if mid-week happened to work, there is the grand ol' Blue Poultry Auction

I could check on Lake McMurtry, which is the city of Stillwater's lake north of town. It has primative and improved campsites, RV, pavilions, ect. I can check to see on chickens, but I doubt it would be a problem.

OK GOOD NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jim said yes just do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lexington auction, we can use his barn. Birds can stay there over night. We can camp at T-bird. He wants to know can anyone come in and buy birds? Or just limited to our group? Stimpy and Carla have been there and I know a few others have from here that I do not know their names, We can use his place for the entire weekend. He does not have RV hook ups.

FREE. But think here we would be using his electric and his water. Again Feed back please
