I still have some of that pineapple cream cheese cake left... and fresh coffee

Wish you were down the street instead of across the state!

Just wait until I make that Death By Chocolate cake, you'll be able to smell it from across the state.

What heater?

Steph,

Al found a skookum wall heater in a remodel he's doing. It's a perfect heating element for an incubator. He won't give that one up, but he said he'd be on the lookout for another.

Oh.... Tell him to share......

Al, you have to share!!!!

He's a good rooster. His comb might be damaged from fighting. He likes to get into it with his daddy and they fight all over the yard. The other 2 that I kept are more docile so far, but they are a couple of months younger than him. He should make you a great rooster. I know that he's fertile because I have some of his offspring in my brooder as we speak.

LOL the only one that hauls daily here is my DD she has to haul to her goats. All my chickens have enough water for a few days at a time so I only have to deal with hauling if it is freezing outside every couple of days.

I might be getting some of that death by chocolate........hehe.

His attitude tells me he can do the job I need him to do, your fertility test encourage that, let me know how his young ones turn out this summer. I can doctor that comb in a jiff no sweat.

I hope it doesn't get as bad as it did in '02. The local elec. co-op here had crews from all over but it still took until the first of March to make their last residential connection.

After a bit of research and careful thinking, one of the "unknowns" looks like a Welsummer and one looks like a Siler Penciled Rock. I'm not guaranteeing that is what they are, just that they look similar. I've never had Welsummers or Rocks, so I can't be positive. They are still young, less than a year old, so they may not have their official coloring in yet.

Do you have a picture of the possible Welsummer?

These are the best two pics that I have of him. I will try to get some more when it is daylight.
