poco i was just wondering, because if you only needed for dog and home you could get a 38spl/357mag rifle, 243 will work on just about anything up to deer maybe even elk with the right bullet placement and loading, dont really think it matters what rifle you use, there are many good choices these days.

hello all...
Hope this finds everyone and their birds in good shape.
Thought I would give my 2 cents in on the phone's. If you
have seen people on the news using skype its free and easy
for video calls. My laptop has a built in camera so all I had to do
is sign up. My also got my mom in Cali to sign up and she gets to
talk with the kids face to face now and loves it.

Can anyone send a link to the Pryor show catalog? Better get thinking about that. Then what's the next show after that?

Dandelion007 and Grace do you travel as far as Pryor? I don't like to stray far from home, but I'm giving it some thought. I'm looking forward to meeting both of you.

These birds are only about 2 months. He shouldn't be crowing yet. I peeked around the corner to watch him and he stands up nice and tall and gets after it. He looks so cute, but sounds sooooo bad.

I've never gone quite that far for a show before, but I think I'm going this year!

I'll send you a PM about the catalog.
The only other show this spring in OK that I've heard about is a 4-H only show in Eufaula.

Because I often brood babes in my computer room and spend a lot of time there, I get to hear early crowing efforts. Have had a very few as young as two weeks. Was that a shock! First time I heard that, thought something was VERY wrong. They are very comical!

Morning!

Wayne - I don't know if I could leave those cool Amish sales. I get to go to Loiusville, KY this summer for school stuff. I plan on taking pics of trees...

I have one of them .357 rifles...it has been the demise of many coyotes. Got a few .243 that have done in a fair number of 'yotes as well. Both are good choices. The .243 will give you a bit more range. There is no recoil by the way. My kids got their first deer with one.

I am off to build utches...any voluteers to help move it?

Cuban - actually...the saipan did have to go around and inform a few other hens that she was not to be messed with...then she informed a couple roos that they were not her type (that was funny and humiliating at the same time)...no I had a couple stags jump an older roo and well...they did it twice. gang mentality...funny how birds and folks are the same.
