Hey Q, Whats happnin up North? I am gonna go down to the pens in a bit and move some birds around.
They will sure be surprised in the morning when they wake up and see what has been sleeping next to them.

Monty not alot going on up here!! We are getting some pretty good weather, suppose to be in the 50's tomorrow, so I am hoping to get some more birds rearranged and maybe a pen or two built. How are things down your way?

Things are good here. I took Jared to a Outdoor/Hunting/Fishing show today and then spent the afternoon working around outside.
It was really nice here but everything is still squishy. It is supposed to snow again here tomorrow night, but it is supposed to melt quicgly even if it sticks.
I need things to dry out.

Monty we have a slight chance of snow tomorrow but nothing major, my pens are almost dry now which I am glad because they were starting to stink I need to get out there and dig up a few inches and put some new dirt down

The Cubalaya roo is sure handsome. I had plans for him but now my buddy has decided he will take him after all.

I'll probably get him back though since he just wants to raise some chicks this spring.

Q are you serious that you put new dirt down? My dirt just seems to wash away everytime it rains.

I wish I could make Blanchard on the 13th but don't think I can sweet talk my way into that one.

don't mean to hijack, but i need to ask a question for those in my area NE oklahoma (Skiatook/Owasso area).

we built the floor today for my chicken coop and we are thinking about NOT insulating the walls.... what do you all have, insulated or noninsulated coops here in my part of OK? or should we bit the bullet and insulate it?

I don't know if the hens could stand our couple of weeks of single digit numbers that we seem to get almost every winter?

any advice, be glad to hear it

It is gonna be an 8x12, we had to shrink it a bit
