Good morning all. I have a dilema. Jordan is turning 13 in a couple of weeks and I have no idea what to get him. If anyone has any ideas, let me know. It CANNOT be a bird or animal of any type. We are moving soon and I have to redo all my pens. I can't bring any new animals in until after the pen rebuild. He is at the age that he no longer plays with toys. He doesn't play video games or watch tv. About the only thing he does like is books and basketball. He has too many books now and doesn't need any sports equipment. I am totally stumpted. I could really use some help here.

Shavron,

At that age EVERY kid will change their minds 50 times before his brithday arrives. He is at the hardest age to buy for since they are about to start chasing girls and going through heavy puberty.

Maybe cologne? Maybe a gift card and turn him loose at the mall for a couple of hours?

....................POOPS AUCTIONS REMINDER....................

..........................

I am now actively accepting consignments for both of our POOPS auctions coming up in May. Please contact me via pm with anything you would like to auction off. We will accept almost anything that is poultry related,

art's & crafts, hatching eggs, chicks, misc coop equipment= nest boxes, feeders waters etc, chickens, turkey's, peafowl, quail, rabbits, cages, feed, bedding..................you get the idea.

1). The 1st auction is our POOPS donation auction whereby the proceeds go to fund our annual POOPS events in order to cover our vast expenses required to host such a large event.

2). The 2nd auction is our sellers for profit auction, whereby the seller benefits from the sale of their items.

3). Don't forget to look for some items to donate to the Raffle, which has always been such a big hit, contact Gracefulbantams for your raffle consignments.

Thanks you all once again for helping make our annual POOPS event such a big success.

Yes POOPS is a yearly prank fest, last spring we got Teach with the threat of spiders, and Carla got serinaded by 4 hot girls for her birthday, not to mention numerous other antics.

He won't tell me what he wants. Well he did tell me he wanted a new bike. He earned $100 by helping clean out the garage at the new house and used that to buy a bike yesterday.

He doesn't play any instruments. He has a radio in his room and he has access to about 5000 songs on the computer. He doesn't really listen to much.

Thanks for the good ideas everyone. Keep them coming.

I agree that Gift cards may be the way to go this time, just watch what he buys and use the ideas for the next time.

I say well, I guess you need to put on your big boy underroos and adapt & overcome. At least it's just 3 and not 30.

Hey Shavron,

Boys at that age also start paying a little more attention to their appearance, maybe a Personal Grooming set to include a good razor, a more 'Manly Watch', have you thought about maybe a "Men's Evening" for the guys to go to dinner and a movie of his choice.

Still thinking back to when I was that age of what I would have wanted.
