Good Morning Guys!

Al, Long Time No See!

Looks like we may get hammered with the weather again... Not turning any animals out today... hate for some of the chickens to end up in the neighbors yards....

Everyone be careful... its suppose to start hitting this afternoon...

Good morning, everyOkie! It is a deluge outside right now - stormfront came through about 8:20 and replaced the sun with thunder and rain. Good think I got almost everything mowed last night.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Moring Doc, I did get sleep but I still feel foggy. One more night & I should be good as new. Grandma is holding her own but not out of the woods, they are working to get a blood clot disolved & now we have a fractured hip too.....Hoping for good news from the ortho doc today.

No not yet, just taking an easy day or two before we get busy again. no rain yet, I really can't decide what to do today.

Im getting ready to pull chicks out of the hatcher today if you are interested. they are Ameraucanas, different colors.

Thank you Stephanie - those sound exactly what I need. I will eventually end up with the chicks after the class project is finished and I personally love Ameraucanas and had given the class green eggs from 4 different hens. I sent you a PM.

Brings back memories of my 1st solo trip to OK. Eighteen kindergartners, day 26 not a single pip, leisurely drive to Atwoods in Bartlesville because "no problem they had plenty"
th.gif
, frantic calls twenty minutes later because I thought I'd missed the turn to Claremore since it was "just a left after the bridge you can't miss"
idunno.gif
, more frantic calls after I made the turn and realized I'd be hitting Claremore right at closing time

, followed by a long, dark drive back to the school praying I'd eventually run into something I recognized that I could navigate back home from.

This year I took a broody about 5 days out to hatch.

afternoon folks!...I hate the end of school....

Well...at least baseball is starting! I love that..boys are on different teams (different age breaks). Bubba is playing his first year with our oldest division in little league. The little guy will probably be catcher and might see a little pitching...that is scary. He does an okay job catching...he has to pay attention to everything there! Not sure where the big guy will be placed this year. He has alot of natural talent and way more then enough try...we shall see.

I am ready for some bird auctions!
