MORNING and HAPPY SUMMER everyone(although its been summer weather since June started)

We had baby turkeys hatch... 3 were pipping last night before we turned in for the evening,

went out this morning and saw this

and then I spotted this cute one peeking out at me from here..

I lifted up her wing to see how the eggs were doing and saw this lil one trying to hatch out...

Once that sucker hatched out I lifted her up and saw that we actually had a total of 6 babies.... the others were chilling underneith her right wing, with one that looked like it hatched out the same time the other one I watched did.

Anyhow I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and enjoyed their Sunday... We worked on the property(just like you all know having a place is a never ending job)

Hey Doc and Peaches: Had a good time with you guys Saturday... Hope Doc's Back is doing ok... better get that checked out, hate to see ya broken any more than you are!

Hey guys

not sure if I can post this here or not but a fellow blogger buddy of mine is hosting a 3 Hole Chicken Nest box Give A Way... We bought our 6 hole from them and have enjoyed it plus we dont mind supporting farm families trying to make a living in this hard economic times... They raise chickens like we do... They are a sweet bunch...

Just go here if ya interested... Shoot who cant beat having another nest box around for all the chickens we end up with because of enablers like your selves... HA HA HA

OK got most of the signs painted on both sides, have 6 or 8 left to prime and paint on one side then ready to stencil all of them, will start stenciling most of them in a little bit, Heather just got home!!! Taking a break from the heat, not bad but still warm out. Put up some panels and a gate so I could turn my yearling heifer out in the back yard to graze, might as well get a little work out of her instead of hauling hay to her huh??? Entered the drawing for the three hole nest box, thanks Jeaqnie!!! Nice site too everyone, check it out, these look like real quality work for a fair price!!! Back later, Lynn

Hey Micheal!!!!! LOOK!!!!!

I collect POP Bottles and Pop's is a wonderful place, I can never decide which pop I want so I usually buy a 6 or 12 pack of differebt one!!!! LOL Hey Micheal did you BUY tha Pyle, I would love to see a pic of it, do you have a nice hen to go with him?$?$?$!!!!?, do you have and standard size Crele (Barred Dom) pairs or trios???? Just got back from running an errand trip to town. Picked up some seven dust and dusted a dew of the birds. I noticed eggs had mites on them the other day so the birds proably do to. Maybe this will help them till I can afford some ivermectin. Dropped off a couple of pigeons at my young friends place. He was trying to give me some crele bantams but I just don't have anyplace to put them.

Boy it is hotter than all get out here! I am going to get in the pool after while and add some more salt to itAny excuse is a good one I guess! Thye garden and daflowers are doing good but even with the showers I am still haveing to water some. I planted lots of pumkins and gourds and they are taking over everything. I mow right up next to them each week but they are still spreading into the yard!Hope to get a lot of birdhouse gourds this year.

Those turkey pics were great! Someone on our craigslist has 6 midget white poults for sale. They started out at $30 each,then $15 and now down to ten. I would like to try the midgets if I had the extra I would get them. Maybe they will come down some more!lol. Don't know why but I like miniature stuff. Wonder if you crossed the midget turkeys with other breeds they would come out smaller and more colorful!Hmm!
