Dave says they should be fine, betcha i'll be getting up periodically to check on them- left the porch light on, should that be a deterent?

oh...my poser the goose decided today he needed to romance the girl ducks! will that be a problem? i have a pekin drake and three female ducks....

if it causes a problem he will need to be rehomed

Robin you will have to put a solid partition between the boys. They will inflict grave and sometimes fatal damage through the wire.

Hi everyone, what an eventful day, work, load scrap iron, do chores, go get Dakota from football practice, finish chores, put boar back in his pen, fix gate, unload scrap metal, strip out some scrap metal, put boar back in pen, drive t post in middle of panel to hold him in, come in , eat supper, set in chair, take ibupropen, watch tv, curse computer, check emails, curse computer, check messages, have 12 baby White Leghorns in the mail to me this evening, return messages, curse computer, read magazine while waiting on computer, check BYC Forum, write this message, Go to Bed, TIRED!!!!! Morning everyone,

All excited about something but have no idea what?! Ya know where you wake up in the morning and you are so sick of being over weight you decide to call the sears maintance to fix your treadmill and its too early for them to be open..lol

Then you start drawing the restructure of how you want your property on anything that will let you write on it...

Yea thats how excited I am ... seriously I dont need coffee to wind me up(it actually calms me down)...

Great thing is that although we are down sizing alot of our chickens n fowl... we still have them Cornish rocks coming in the next week or so ... but those will be some tasty roasters in the freezer for us in a few months and nothing else so emotional attachment need not apply.

Be sure the bantams can't even fight thru the wire. I lost my turken roo last spring because he and another did that. He lost an eye and it got infected and I had to finally put him down/ Even a piece of cardboard just high enough so they canj't see each other will help. thats the problem with bantam roos,they are pretty to have around but if they aren't raised together or its not to cold to be breeding they will fight and often it is with bad results.
