Les,
As long as you have your doctor's cap on I have a question.
Today I found a three week old chick which had its head stuck under its belly and back between its legs. When it moved it staggered backwards. It didn't fall. I tried to straighten its neck out and I let it drink with me holding its head but whenever I let go its head would go right back between its legs. It was like this all day so just before dark I went ahead and put it out of its misery. There are about 25 in that brooder and he was the only one affected.
I had never seen anythng like it.
