Yep, thats about how I remember it, well maybe one of these days I will make it back out there, and I can check out any birds you might be trying to part with. That way you wont feel left out with the rest of us. I am completely with you on the fact that due to the fact that the weather stations down here only show beaver county, most people only think that the panhandle goes about 50 miles west of Woodward. Heck, I guess if you sell some birds to someone down here in central OK and I'm out there I could haul them back for you.

We are going to an auction the weekend before the swap in Dodge City...if we don't find some little goats there I might be looking...I want to keep a couple goats around for buddies for show goats...Don't have too much fun I am going to bed

Has anyone been to that weekend swap up in Tulas or is going on yet? I am heading back there next weekend.Sure would like to check it out. My wife knew the address (she is from there)but now I have forgooten itAlso anyone in the tulsa-Sandsprings area raise pigeons.

Look at this colour, it came out of a pen of all white/black silkies.

After reading all the posts since I was on here Tuesday night, I can see why the Okie thread is closing in on the Kentucky folks.

Regarding a location for POOPS, my first choice is the KOA because of the more central location and the availability of more than one bathroom (don't campgrounds usually have a showerhouse with a couple of toilets - one for the guys and one for the gals?)

My second choice is Lexington.

If some folks want to go to either the Jones or the Blanchard auction, they could be there before the auctions begin, even if they didn't leave the POOPS until after 3:30.

If we choose the KOA, money from the silent auction/raffle could be used to pay the fee and the hat could be passed for the rest.

ETA: we could also add an extra $2 or so to the price of the shirts to be applied toward the KOA rental.

I like the last design I saw for the POOPS shirt, but am not fond of the POOPS flower. It is a pretty flower, but to me - it doesn't resemble anything related to a chicken.

CityClucks - THANK YOU for explaining why I couldn't get the "post reply" button to work. That has really frustrated me in the past. By the time I got the "post reply" button to respond, I had forgotten what I wanted to say.

My poor POOPS flower has not been received very well.

I found a picture of chicken poop in green grass. I had to sit there and cutout (mark the detailed outline of it upclose). Actually, more than once because I had to start over a couple of times.

By the time I was finished, I was somewhat repulsed. With all that work I had put into the chicken poop, I felt I had to do more with it than just the t-shirt. I might add I did it late at night probably under sleep deprivation conditions. Yeah, that's it.

I WAS SLEEP DEPRIVED! I got pooped from staying up late! That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it. But anyway, I did not put it on anything else. So, you will not find it on the t-shirts. It will not be on the sleeve or the back or any other place you might not readily notice. I merely added to the post for everyone's enjoyment.

okcarla,
If you want Welsummer eggs and can't make it to the Blue Auction, I could see if they have them again this next time. We could swap eggs for a Spitzhauben roo if you have another one besides the one you have reserved for Grace.
