I can't believe it!!!!
God is awesome!!!

Sonya, yes, Miss Lorene was a treasure. Well, she still is, just not down here. She left a huge empty place in her pew and in our hearts, but her homecoming was a great day for her. Thanks for all you did taking care of her. I don't believe I know your husband or his family, but if your husband works as an officer for Eastern he needs lots of prayer. That can be rough, I know!

Hope your girls have a great day at Honor Band.

Nasty weather all 'round--gonna go stir my chili and whip up my corn bread and be really, really glad that this is an at-home day.

Luvs said-woot a feather foot. I have a lone brahama and hubby calls her feather foot, If I had my rathers she would be stew meat, she has decided to lay eggs 1/4 mile away from the coop. I am NOT walking down 1/4 mile for an egg. But hubby likes her. He likes things that are different. You think that is why he likes me
**I some how messed up the quote thingy***

LOL!! That is why I like mine, they are so cute!! I am sure they don't looks so cute now with all the muck stuck to the feet. Mine hardly ever stay inside the coop when it is raining or in this case snowing. If I get a roo for them, I would have a bunch of them!

I saw plans on here for a home made bator, that I may try sometime when this one becomes to unreliable.....of course if things go the way that I would like I may need a much bigger one!

It's adorable... perfect little wings and toes....It is a dark gold color...Must be an orp. Gorgeous and fluffy...One more that I could see was zipping. My heart is pounding.... We went to Ace this morning and I was gonna get crumbles, but thought I will wait to see if they actually hatch. Now I have to go get supplies!!

awwwwwwwwwwwww that is the way to do it, my hubby checks on the chicks all the time. HE is the one that moved lil miss broody butt into the house last night. I told him we are gonna name her BB, he calls her big boobs, I call her broody butt. I guess both works.

Nothing like a broody doing all the work, but I guess I will find out it might be more stressful on the humans.

can anyone guess what my next project for hubby will be.............has to do with revamping the sportsman so I am not opening it so often.........................Hope he will be quick with it, he will only have about a couple hours to do it as I will be starting a new hatch.

Henny, congrats on bein a grandma!!! It sure is cute!!! You can crumble up some boiled egg and a little bit of instand oatmeal for a feeding tonight or as a treat when they are all hatched out, the mom and the babies will do good on it, the babies won't need to eat the first day anyways as they have ubsorbed the yoke before they are hatched, that is how they can ship them day old by mail and not worry about food the first day or two, Lynn

Sounds like your son's moving day will generate stories to tell, for a long time - and it will probably take even longer to get the mud back out of the house.

I got two more babies!

I tried to look under my broodies but when you have four in one nest...well...someone is always there to peck you or hit you or otherwise make it an issue...but I have a plan
