Oh I bet she so loved it, and of course you more so. Ihave a 5 yr old grandson, yesterday he had his back pack on his back and got into the car. He looked at me with the awwwwwww face and said Nana you and Papa were right, I said, what about bubba, he said me eating my dinner last night made me grow. I asked whta do you mean, he said, My feet can now touch the floor while I am sitting in the seat. I didnt have the heart to tell him his backpack moved him up a little bit. I will have another grandbaby come the end of August. We find out what the baby is April 16th.

Good morning everyone. I sold chickens yesterday at Chupps Auction. I had a trio of Doms sell for 23 dollars each. I couldn't believe it.

We sold 31 dark RIR pullets that are around 4 1/2 months old for 11 up to 16 dollars each.

14 RIR roosters the same age for 8 each.

6 grown RIR roosters for 9 each.

The bad thing is that the commission is 20 percent. But there is always a huge crowd.

So this morning I get up make the coffee, and check the eggs in the bator, all is ok at 9:00 am, I go back in there just a few minutes ago and I see 3 or 4 starting to ZIP!!!!!. Wow so cool, my DD and 4 of her friends had a sleep over last night and they will have some fun when they get up watching the chick show. You have to forgive me for my excitment, but it is my rookie hatch in my rookie homemade incubator.

LOL, Luvs you better build those pens out of cement blocks or they will all blow a way today, hope nobody has frozen chicks, the temp is going to be bitter ths next two to three days here, we have eveything up in sheds or out of the wind, the baby pis are all snuggled up in the hay with mom, BigOkie sounds like you had a good day, Congrats on the sales Bricker, Good Morning Sooner, Stimpy, Henny, Pepper and Al, may have to tie off to the truck rails today to get the load of scrap metal unloaded, but I gotta get it done so I can go get some feed and hay, have to start back to work tomarrow, been layed off all week, will check in later, Lynn

Got a question if anyone can help. I have set my new batch of eggs. I am using a LG. I have them in cartons, planning to take them out on day 18. I am wondering how I am going to be able to tilt the bator without the water spilling out of the well......I have it done now and plan to check the cartons when I switch to the other side.

I have an idea - please tell me if this is just plain silly:
I have a bunch of leftover multi-use rectangular sticky labels I was going to trash, but though I could make nametags for POOPS with them. I can put our screen names on them, and if you want I can put your real name underneath so we can tell who is who. For instance, Buckguy's sticker would look like this. Size is about 4" x 2".

Let me know if you think this is worth doing - it won't take me any time (already spending too much time on BYC anyway!) and I already have the materials.
