Oct 23/24 sounds good to me, I usualy take vacation around then. The wife said she would "allow" me to go to POOPers event though she laughs at the name. She will comeing with me and we will have a new GPS unit to make sure we arrive. I should have a few silkies to load off on someone and some japs also. I doubt my wife will think highly of me eating chilli all day an sleeping in an enclosed space with her all nite. Someone may have to make room for me

I try to schedule my Fall church blood drive on a weekend other than bedlam or OU/Texas, but other than that, I consider myself lucky if at either OU or OSU have an "away" game the weekend of the blood drive.

The location will probably be affected by those who agree to do all the work to organize the event and haul all the cooking stuff to the location.

I wasn't even thinking about "big boy" football...I've got a 3rd and 5th grader who live eat and breathe it and they are starting on new teams this year, since we moved.

We'll just have to see how it goes. If there's enough interest around the NE OK area, I've got a spot. But, OKC might be more convenient for people.

Oh well! There's a little while to figure it out, huh? LOL!

It just so happens that a big ugly bear of a man has a birthday on October 23rd and he will be 49!!!!

So I think that would be a wonderful birthday weekend,

and I usually have that whole week off from work for inventory!!!

Where is Al? Has anyone heard from Slightly Cracked yet?

Went to the funeral today. Three little boys 4,7, and 9 and their Daddy. It was tough. The sad thing is the mom is still alive and doesn't even know this all has happened. I thought of her as the coffins came down the aisle.... tough...God is still in control.

Just checking in to let everyone know we are still alive and kicking!! We have been going lights out since we landed at home. Answering 4 million baseball phone calls that we avoided while we was gone and trying to get ready for Opening ceramony on Saturday. We still don't have our uniforms in.

The Wingman (John) said he had a WONDERFUL time and he looks forward to doing it again! Which is amazing. He had a GREAT time cooking with Mike and Al, he was in his zone. After working at McDonald's for 23 years it comes pretty natural to him.

I am sorry we missed Sunday service but we needed to get on the road. We will NOT miss it next time.

Teach - Shaun says THANKS for the wonderful bird he is really enjoying them. How did the baby brown leghorns make it? I will have bigger birds for you in the fall.

Shaun will show in the Ottawa County fair the 3rd week of August and then at Tulsa the 1st week of October.
October 23rd sounds great to me............so far.

I LOVE making chili so a chili cook off sounds like a blast.

Let's set a date so we can get our kabin booked and I can request vacation time.

Hey Neecy... glad you are safe and OK... Mike says "Hi" to the Wingman!! The Chili cookoff sounds awesome....I'm for October..... Mike says we better order Porta-Potties if we do chili!!! I make a mean chili....With Beans!! chili is not chili without beans!
