its comin your way just looked at the radar an its w of us by ponca city

I agree, they eggs will be fine. You can store them up to a week, some say 10 days. just rotate them on the counter and they should be fine. If those bantam eggs your getting are shipped you need to let them sit on your counter for at least 6 hours before you put them in the bator.

Henny, nonsense, your gonna have a hatching addiction now and can hatch out your own eggs no problemo after this

I wish I could go but I am working AGAIN this weekend. But i am off Memorial weekend. I plan to go down and see what I can see!!

Are you planning a trip to Jacob's cave?? We are going to try to go, then turn around and head to OKC the next Friday for the NPIP class.

Well, it is official. I have a pet chicken! I have several chickens but this one has become the pet. She is about 14 weeks old and follows me everywhere. She came to stand between my feet and was chirping at me. I picked her up. She ran straight up my arm to sit on my shoulder and nuzzle in my hair. When I sat her down she stood on my foot while I walked. Weird! been around chickens alot and never had one do that.

I had one like that... It was tons of fun watching her run as fast as she could across the linolium floor when I tapped my foot against the frame of a door. When she got older she'd jump around flapping her wings when ever I did that until I croutched down so she could flutter up to my should and nestle there til I put her out...

Hey...us up here in NE OK might actually get some rain........
yeah...right...CRAP !!!!!

Anyone up this direction....do whatever you usually do for this
"stuff".....draw water, find your flash lights, find your lamp
oil, gather up your important papers....slap the kids and tell
them to shut up...LOL But, seriously....there is a major line
of "crap" coming through Bartlesville, winds up to 80 mps,
and moving SE from there....and a lower line trying to connect
to it.

Am gonna get off this thing and start unplugging stuff.

Stay safe everyone !!!!!

P.S. They just gave a new one.....Stillwater/Oklahoma City.....
you guys do a "heads up" as well.

It is the wierdest thing. When I put her out with the big chickens she wouldnt come to anybody. She would run as fast as she could away from you. Now she slides thru the fencing to find me. My husband was holding her earlier and everything was fine til she heard me speak then she couldnt get to me fast enough.
