Talking about kids, and Shelia your so WRONG there. My youngest daughter, she was deathly afraid of storms, she would come a runing............ MOMMY MOMMY its a stormin in my roommmmmmmmm. She is 22 this year and STILL afraid of storms and if she still lived with me she would be in my bed.

Ok finally uploaded some pics, what am I His name is Mutt, his buddy is Jeff. You do not see one with out the other.

Jeff is so pretty. I love the blue color. In your opinions what roos are the most beautiful and least aggressive. I am sure the two are not in the same category because in the animal kingdom the most beautiful men are usually the most dominant thus have the most opportunity to get a mate.

Actually my Jersey giants are the most docile of them all. I had a Buckeye I would have loved for him to meet the end of a shovel. He would wait for me to come outside and then the attack was on. I DO NOT do aggressive roosters.

marans xblue maran and amerucana I have 6 amerucana and they ended up being 4 roos and I wanted eggers. I am trying to have a flock of colored eggers. I am really wanting a menagerie of chickens. I have been told for a newbie that is probably a bad idea but, I couldn't decide what breeds I wanted so I got 2 of each

Grace-do you like your spitzhaubens? I have a pair and I wonder how the roos are. I am trying to decide which 2 roos to keep and he and the buttercup are the 2 that i have decided on but, I am leery of getting a mean roo.

Here is a good Roo page https://www.backyardchickens.com/web/viewblog.php?id=2588-Roo_behavior great pics.

Here is a list of the boys from which I am trying to make a choice. Frizzled black bantam, 2 cochin bantams buff and white, 4 Ameracauna, SLW, 3 various polish, Spitzhauben and Buttercup.

Hope everyone is okay...we had no issues out here! We do have a fraidy hole but my wife won't go in it so I store my grain in there!

BigOkie - glad to here you have a good hatch going! Aren't they hillarious! You should see the button quail they are even funnier.

Grace - need a chick! That is hilarious

Cuban - take the truck huh? So would my wife!

Dang...we got a bunch to do before school is out! Another week and I will so totally crack out on Diet Dew and Okies in the BYC!!!

Luvs - Mutt looks to be part standard cornish, reminds me of a dark cornish. Maybe a cornish x jersey giant? Talk about a huge meaty bird!

It stopped raining, the birds are chirping again. I wonder if the power is back on at the house?
