Al some of your students must have slept in class because it's the Direct TV that keeps losing signal. But I have talked to people with the converter boxes and they have the same problem as well when it storms.

It has been several years since we ate in Duncan. Is there a place you recommend?

Goodners steak house, it is right on HWY 81 as you come through town it is on the left you can't miss it. A decent steak for a decent $, and it will not be out of your way at all.

The rain is starting and it sounds like large drops. Sure am glad that all my critters have shelter - if they choose to utilitize it. I suspect the guineas and the turkeys are roosting on top of the flight pen instead of going into the chicken shed - as usual.

Marybeth I would take 81 south out of Chickasha. Last I drove it a year or so ago it was a good road. Lots of nice country there too.

But then again I like taking the "little" roads, easier on the nerves for me. When I drove OTR I used to just get tired of those endless superslabs and would have to jump off of them time to time. Often times I had my co-driver so lost it wasn't even funny. Especially when I got in this area. Home turf.

thank you. As I recall, that is a few blocks from the Corporation Commission's District office in Duncan, so we ate there a very long time ago. Glad to know the food there is still good.

I never consider myself "lost" but I have taken more than my fair share of "scenic tours."

I went to Duncan last summer, for a rabbit show. It was a lovely trip with little traffic and lots of pasture land. Very restful drive.

The hail has started - looks like nickle size from the window - but sounds much larger as it hits the skylights.

well the main part of the storm has blowed over we are still gettin alot of rain not near as bad as the weather service let on.radar looks like the rest of it is just heavy rain .hope it clears up by mornin.cause i got close to 100 chickens loaded an ready for the sale

We are getting ready for the line. It looks like Norman is fixing to get hammered. Oh how I want this weather over with. I lost one of my favorite pullets today. She just got so water logged and let the others trample her in the mud. I told my husband to pull her out to the quite cage, but did he listen, why heck no, does he EVER listen? Nope. Grrr. I have my 4 yr old chanting Rain Rain go away. My teens could care less. As long as they get to lay around all day, they are happy. Booo!

Negative much, why yes, why do ask. LOL

Well... I don't think I passed my drumline audition.
