Hey Teach, I am here.
But judging by my eys I may not be here too long. I got into something yestrerday and my eyes have been fuzzy every since then. Sleep is good for them though so I might try that.
So, have you lined me up a place to pheasant hunt this fall? You know you were supposed to be working on that since you couldn't get me a hunt on the King Ranch. But I would still settle for that.

Man the weather is great!!!!! It was in the low 80's today with low due to be in the mid 50's!!! I went and picked up some hog panels today to start the next big pen so I will begin to drive fence post and start on the fence tomorrow

I know Henny plays the GEE TAR. Anybody else do any picking or strumming?
Also are there any singers out there?

It's taken me more than an hour to catch up on everyone's posts. School is off to a good start. Open House was a huge success. I met the parents of 35 of my students. I saw a good cross-section of people, not just the parents of the A students. I hope I see twice that many people at our first Parent/Teacher conference.

spent the day nursing my Duchess, she went lame about a week ago, by today she couldn't stand, but it was suggested it could be a vit defiency, so am giving her vit b diluted in water, and liquid vitamins, she seems a bit perkier and is still laying an egg a day...she is living in the spare bathroom at nite on a quilt, so be praying for my girl... i have lost too many this summer...

bring your sorry hide and pick-up Al along the way...I will treat you to a feeding frenzy! Just pray for cold and snow...while it makes it a little miserable...the hunting is SO much better!

Our dealer out here has about the cheapiest feed available and the only one that carries a cock ration...19% protein with lots of nifty seeds and such in it. The protein is higher than the Purina egg as well as the chick starter (which is about the only other option) and it is cheaper! I buy the purina game bird ration for the quail...only option in that higer protein...well tractor supply carries like a 24% but it is really high and what I get when the purina isn't around...I have a gal that hordes it for me! When she tells the guys it is saved they don't let it go until she OK's it!
