No, not the owner .... it was Jerry's father that passed away. Sorry for the confusion.

Here's my original post:

Cammy, are you going to go to the next Cement auction? There's a new auction going to start up in Fletcher on September 19th too. It's going to be run by the fella everyone calls "Doc" and they'll use the same auctioneer company that Blanchard does.

Al, how about you? I expect you to go to both of those!

YES!!!!! I have heard allot about the Fletcher Sale barn starting up, it is only just down the road from me, and Barnswallow/Jeannie can throw a rock from her house to the auction barn. I will be at both with bells on, OK scratch the bells hehehe. I am sure Jim/Buster will also be there and Sam should have heard about it by now.

Carla - Let's see, Cement is two weeks from yesterday... I've got a friend coming up from Houston, but I imagine I will be there. My other friends might just have to become chicken people... Do you know where in Fletcher the other one is? I also heard someone on here rumor an auction in Alex. Think that'd be a little over kill with Blanchard being so close, but who knows!

I have a parakeet (budgie named Charlie) whose cage sits in front of a big window in the dining room. I have two hummingbird feeders hanging outside that window. The hummingbirds like to fly level with Charlie and they sit and fuss at each other.

It is in the 4H barn right on the Hwy in a small field next to the wildcat cafe, you can see the barns from the road. I still do not know the start time though, Jim/Buster may know.

Now that is an awesome incubator, I like the design it looks very practical and user friendly. Cleaned up that thing is a treasure, How well does it work??.

The bad thing about the Fletcher auction is that it will be competing with the Cement auction on the first Saturday of the month. The Fletcher auction will eventually be every 1st and 3rd Saturday, but their first auction will be the 19th of September. I hope it doesn't drive the Cement auction out of business. I like those folks!

We picked up a flyer for the auction while at the Blanchard auction last night. Fletcher Poultry Auction (1/4 mile East of Hwy 277, on North Road) Fletcher, OK For more information, call 405-664-5645 or 405-496-8889

Buy/Sell: Eggs, Poultry, Poultry Supplies, Rabbits, Cages, Farm and Ranch Supplies, Tools, Etc.

Concessions Available on Auction Day! Free Complimentary Coffee!

NO Household Pets Allowed As A Consignment.

Al, Free Coffee !!!! Did you see that????? Woo Hoo !!!!

Cammie, no I haven't heard of an Alex auction, but I know that Jerry of the Blanchard auction was considering finding another location so that they could eventually have a goat & sheep auction too. I don't know where they're looking, but I heard possibly even around Chickasha.
