As for when POOPS will be held again I will let AL & Monty answer that. I believe it will be an annual event but the season has not been picked yet.

If it is decided it will be once a year, I'd be in favor of fall. It's too hard to get away in the spring, as other events I'm involved in are always in the spring. AND, most of the chicks are hatching in the spring, probably keeping most of us really busy.

faerladie, Welcome. We are glad to have you. I will get you added to our Okie list (THe first posts list everyone) I think you said you live in OKC. If so, I live near Choctaw so we are sorta neighbors.
The P.O.O.P.S. talk will slow down in a few days and the board will return to normal.
Anyway glad that you are jumping in and being a part of this wonderful group.

Still haven't heard on the job thing. (*Hennies sighs with relief*). But he has been looking at places like Ohio and NY....would rather live in Chickasha. But I really like it here.

Monty, thanks for your prayers. We surely do appreciate them. Mike is usually a pretty positive fellow, but has been so low the last year or so. A lot has happened...with our health, our moms, etc. Like so many folks nowadays it seems to never have an end....ya just go from crisis to crisis....A couple of years ago we had to change churches and that is so hard to do in a small town. We lost all our friends, and really haven't aquired new ones. So we don't really have much fellowship. It's just a rough patch.... that seems to have no end.

Monty would be glad to meet up with ya and the Al family.....
