Just beautiful craftsmanship!

I lost one of the baby chicks madison got in the raffle. The coco maran must of got piled on last night......Madison checked them this morning and must not have noticed... She will be one sad little girl when she gets home, that was the one she picked first....

Carolyn does your daughter have a facebook, if so Madison does, she can pick her up off of my page.

Off to get a stronger light for tonight.

That sounds great!

I'm near Tulsa; I'd love to be in on more "talks."

Maybe the BYC Okies in our area could get together for lunch nearby and get to know each other better. I know there are quite a few of us!

Thanks everyone

I've spent the past few hours following every lead I can think of:
Looked at coop plans (Dad thinks Matt's might be our best option... so, Matt, thanks for posting those at just the right time!).
Gone through the Hamburg club website looking for local breeders... but there aren't any!
Emailed a member of this forum who I heard had a rooster from my bird's eggs (please, please still have it!)
Emailed the original breeder of my birds to see if he has info on anyone he sold his birds to when he sold out of this breed.
And, cried and prayed!

I still am going to be four birds short at these shows

Sounds like a good idea to me!

Wish there was a get together up my way more. Maybe near Enid? It is so hard to go very far from home with a 2 1/2 month old the nurses. Can't wait to get to meet everyone. The only person from here that I have had the pleasure of meeting, twice now, is Teach.

sounds like a good plan to me i hated missin all the fun at poops

Well with the 2009 POOPS in the books I am proud to announce a super fantastic time was had by all. I thought the whole event went off without a hitch, all of the different things we planned just came together so well once we began to arrive on Friday & Saturday.

I want to take this time to Thank all of those who sacrificed so much of their time and efforts to do for the betterment of our fine group.

Monty : without whom this forum wouldn't even exsist, he is such a great guy in keeping all of us held together. Thanks does not describe your commitment to this group, You Da Man !!! Montecello.

Carah : You were such a rock to have had to put up with all that you did for us, from the food set-up which was just so great and yes you were right we did have plenty LOL. and all of the other things you did like our nice T-shirt drive nice job by the way to your selfless effort, we love you for it.

Beth : Fantastic job on the entertainment which as you can see from the post was the highlight of the event, to the PA system and the work you put in at the sign-up table.

Marybeth : The displays thanks to you are probably going to be a mainstay at any future event, and your giving nature cannot be replaced by anyone.

Eulaine, Bill, TJ, & Kendra Bailey : Without you this event could never have achieved it's legendary status, you and your whole crew just do so much to make these get togethers so much of a family affair. The awards ribbons that were so well deserved shows your committment to our youth's. Make no mistake about it you guy's are the rock that POOPS sit's on.

Grace : you did such a great job on the raffle we had so many very nice donations and folks are enjoying all of their new toys thanks to you.

Roy,KC,Les, : Your displays were over the top and very professional, I am sure everybody enjoyed and learned alot, we are fortunate to have such knowledgable guy's like you in our group, My hat's off to you.

Rebecca : What a great job you did with the best part of our group the Children !!, without your efforts there would not have been the squeals of laughter the permeated the entire grounds all day long. the crowing toy's were a big hit, and the Pinata that was so fun. big hugs to you.

Gerald & Carla : The Steel Soldier was a very nice touch and a big hit with all, thanks for your efforts at the auction it's success was due in part to your helpfullnes.

Queston & Carolyn : I must say that you folks just made this whole event that much better, you came out of the woodwork to offer so much I felt guilty for all the hard work you put in. You never said no and just kept helping & helping, we cannot say enough about your monumental contribution to the success of this event. The whole group owes you a big one, Thank you guy's from the bottom of my heart.

To all the Kids : I have never seen such a great bunch of children who were so giving of their help and never hesitated to help out and all the hugs I recieved all day long just melted my callused ole heart, so I now give you another big hug back.

Our members : All of this was done for you guy's and you showed in so many ways your gratefullness, you stepped up with all of the nessesities like = food, watermellons, drinks, donations for the raffles & auctions, bringing all the birds and misc stuff that made this thing so great. I am proud to be a member of such a fantastic group of fine Oklahoma folks. To all the die hards in our group that we all depend on to keep us smiling and laughing, Stimpy who is allways quick with a joke or a good story, Donna who's voice could be heard spreading joy throughout the entire grounds, and her antics during the Famed auction bidding wars were a sight to behold, I have never seen a faster bidding hand west of the Peco's LOL. Greybear for his homemade delicacies we all just loved & enjoyed. and to all the newcomers to our POOPS event it appears you jumped in and are now a valued part of our group.

So in closing All I want to say is I am honored to be a part of this fine group of loving people, you have brought me much joy and happieness. I feel I have an extended family in you.

Thank You
