With Pen I give 1cc twice daily and Pen-G I only give it every other day as it is the long lasting version of regular Pen. And it doesn't matter whether bantam or large. Still give 1cc.

Do you inject it the same as Tylan or do you put it down their throat? The webpage I read said to give 1 cc orally.

OK...this is an emergency...! Drop whatever you are doing and go to walmart...! Get one bag of frozen strawberries, one bag of frozen red raspberries and one bag of frozen blackberries...OH!...and cool whip...Defrost, combine, top with cool whip...OMG!! HEAVEN!! Seriously!!!

PS...Mike got a reply on that job in Chickasha...He goes at 9:30 Monday for testing...if he passes he will go back Tuesday for a climbing test and an interview....Pray!! I don't know for what!! Just Pray!!!

Les I am hoping to get my whole flock tested but the guy was suppose to call me before today to set up a appointment to test my birds but nothing yet..... And I guess I am either to tired or just stupid but do they provide the band??

The type of band they are talking about is this type here.

http://www.mcmurrayhatchery.com/product/leg_bands.html

If getting a flock cert. the birds won't be banded by the tester but if just tested for a show the tester should band them. The tester should however have some NPIP bands with them and they are numbered and will pass as a band for show if you can't get any of the plastic ones in time. Just have the tester band the birds you are going to show. It may cost a little but it shouldn't be all that much.

When you get the copy of the test make a few copies of that to send in with your paperwork for the show and keep the original handy. Same goes for the flock cert. when you recieve it.

I am hoping to get some nice offspring out of our RIR bantams. Teva's came from Ark. and mine came from Tx. Both pairs are out of some really good stock.

Henny that would be cool if Mike gets the job. If he doesn't there is a company called Utilities Plus Inc. that is adding crews all the time. They do a lot of work for Cimmaron Elect. Co-op here in Kingfisher.

Praying for you Henny.

I got the job I was going for. Took the drug test today and I know I'll pass. They called my current job for the background check last night and I answered the phone. Of course I referred them to the closest thing I have to a boss. I start next week. When I got the call the other day, I wasn't supposed to start until next month, but that changed overnight.

P.S. I have baby chickies hatching!!!

I have an incubator running non-stop because of hope!

Thank you for the downloadable forms. Boss says we will be showing in Shawnee. So if you see a couple of scraggly looking NNs there they will be ours.

Also hope to pick some other stock up too for breeding projects. So I can fire our 'bators back up way before spring.

Congrats on the new job Shavon.

Good morning everyone

Q, don't ever worry about asking questions. There are others out here that learn when you do. I don't plan on showing, but I love the new info. The testing info is always good!

I know those in Victory will be missing out. Those of us near Chickasha will love having you as neighbors.
